Thread: Chad's wallet was stolen :(

We were in London today renewing our health cars, afterwards went to xs cargo, while we were driving there we discussed how shady of an area it was.
Went there, Chad went to load Zachery and I popped over to shoppers to buy waters. He set his wallet on top of the car put Zach in (if you know baby seats u know you pretty much are in the car too) He got out, people were walking by and his wallet was gone but he figured maybe he threw it in the car.
NOPE.
It was stolen. Immediately I started phoning our credit card companies, luckily im a numbers person and know all our cc numbers off by heart (either that or a shopaholic) even my credit cards were in his wallet, from when I went out last week I gave them to him to hold onto.
Anyways CITIBANK was amazing, I guess we signed up for credit protection through them so they transferred us to all the credit bureaus and now our credit will be monitored for the next 6 years, free of charge (yay)
Called our banks got his bank cards cancelled.
Stopped in to talk to the police and they said just to go to the drivers license office and get a new temp one.
Anyways some old guy called and found our wallet in a dairy queen parking lot (all his money gone of course) but anyways whoever stole it ditched it.
Im glad we cancelled the credit cards and such though because were not even sure if there still in the wallet, or if theyve taken the numbers and will try online to buy stuff.
Hes meeting up with the guy on Saturday to get his wallet back, but we still have to change his social insurance and such, and new cc's are being mailed to us.
BAH! It totally sucked!

Wow, that really sucks...
Glad to hear that he will get his wallet back though.
I have had mine stolen before, and it really is a huge invasion of your privacy.
Good for you for being on top of everything though.

I asked to have my SIN changed at service canada office
They will not change it for me
They said I have suspect fraudulent activity first before it can be changed
