Christmas in July Package Train --- shopping in progress!

Just got back from AnnaMae`s. I put out 5 baby afghans, 3 towel and oven mitt sets and 40 towels. There was room for more but that was all I had with me. Now I need to start all over to get some done for next month. There really is no rest for the wicked.

Wow, that's awesome you can make all those items.

I've always wished I was more crafty. I even bought a sewing machine but can't figure out how to use it. I really need to take a night course but I can't leave the house at night (kids are sleeping and DH isn't always here to watch them). Maybe someday I'll figure it out. lol

Oh and buddy, your package says expected delivery today! It doesn't say out for delivery though... Fingers crossed they drop it off today. I've been on pins and needles since I mailed it. lol

Has anyone ever heard of or visited Sesame Street Place in Philadelphia? I'm considering doing it with Jackson, it's about an 8 hr drive though. So it would be a long weekend kind of thing.

I just googled it and it's only 6 hours from our house. I called DH over to show him. I'm hoping he'll agree to make a trip this Summer. lol. Looks so very cool! We talked about going to Darrien Lake but we agreed the kids need to be older. This looks AWESOME!

I talked to DH and he likes the idea but since he just got laid off... On one hand, he has time to go but on the other it's costly while laid off. Hmmmmmm.

He's now talking about traveling for work again there's a 21 and 7 job (gone 21 days to a job site and home for 7 days - travel time).

I just got home from mailing my buddies package. usually dh does it for me but I decided to do it myself since he packed everything in and addressed the box already. I am going to pm the tracking number in a minute but wanted to post here first.

I pmed the tracking number to both fallenpixels and bargain_hunter_lola... very upset right now though as it was brought to my attention that the tracking number is showing invalid. has anyone else had this problem? spent a small fortune to ship so if this number doesn't fix itself by tomorrow i'm complaining to Canada post!

It does happen, especially if you've mailed recently (like within a few hours). Sometimes it takes awhile for the system to upload and recognize it. I wouldn't worry.

It's updated now. Expected delivery of July 15th.
