I'm thinking I might, but I don't want to come across as aggressive. At the time, we did suggest bringing the policy up on an iphone, but the manager wouldn't look at it. Again, he said it was obvious common sense that one coupon per purchase meant one coupon per transaction. I thought maybe a really friendly phone call might help things instead. Or maybe I should just leave it and avoid that location.
I have always been super easy going and friendly as I don't want to make things worse for couponers.

I see it is in the flyer for this week too. You have to spend $30.00 before tax on Aveeno and receive $10.00 GC back. Plus, in their coupon book, you get a free lip balm for each product purchased. Let me know if you have any luck!
They would reduce the coupon so it would not go over the price but they would not take the $5.00 coupon at all, I said I realized they had a $3.00 limit on printables and to please just adjust the value of the coupon to $3.00 but she wouldn't take it at all. Both said they are not allowed to combine any in-store coupons with other coupons. I may try Brentwood but I find they are really hit-and-miss there.
Oh, I hope to find some! I checked Sobey's London Towne on Tuesday but didn't find them. Anyone else found them yet! My 3 kids love them so we go through a ton of them so I NEED to find these coupons

If you need to use an instore coupon for the $10 GC, it may state "Can not be used with any other coupon offer" which I thought meant that you can't use any coupons on the Aveeno. I know this was the case when they had the B2 Biore products and receive $10 GC.
It looks like their coupon book has expired.

The GC for LD runs this week as well, it has been continued as well as the 20% off.
I went to the LD at 130th last night and bought $90 of the Aveeno. I got 3 of the GC's and a rain check for 16 lip balm. I also PM'd Zellers for the Nestle water and will get the MIR for $10.
It was the manager who was ringing in my order. She is absolutely wonderful. So is the Assistant Manager. I went there last week and was helped by him. I made a point of calling the Manager the next day and telling her how amazing the cashier and the Asst. Manager were and told her how much I appreciate her store. She will PM up to 6 products. I also asked her how I can, as a couponer, help her and her staff to make things easier. She asked that I highlite expiry dates and redemption addresses. I also asked how she felt about PM'ing and whether she would prefer that if I have one coupon if I go directly to the store. She said that she appreciated that I asked at CS BEFORE I try to PM to see if they lose or make money on the deal and if they lose money, please don't do it. She also requested that we don't clear shelves and place an order instead if we are buying in quantities, as then regular customers cannot get their products and the store loses that revenue. I completely agree. She also said that she VERY MUCH appreciated my call as most of the calls she gets are complaints from couponers and that it was a nice change to have someone actually compliment her and her staff. I also gave her a heads up about the new $5WUB3 printable and she said thank you and she would make sure she ordered extras.
Last night, I introduced myself in person and she said thank you for the phone call again. I had no problems with my coupons and she even asked "do you want to pay the $1 per item and save your 2 coupons?". She also accepted my $5 printable. Another couponer came up behind me and asked about it. I had extras so I gave her some. I said to the manager "see, couponers help eachother and are friendly" she said to me "No, not all of you are. You are the first to ever call and compliment my staff and store, and although for the most part, most of the couponers I see are nice, some are downright nasty". I apologized for the nasty ones (you know who you are). A little appreciation for LD and their service goes a long way.
Please, if you want to coupon appropriately and follow the rules, go to the LD on 130th as they appreciate us there. If you want to be nasty, don't ruin it for the rest of us.
I don't mean this as an attack on anyone. I simply wanted to relate my experience.
I see coupons as a GIFT, not a RIGHT. If you see them as a right, please shop somewhere else.Last edited by schwarzie; Thu, Sep 8th, 2011 at 07:40 PM.

I would suggest just watching the overall temp. I have gone in August and been chilled, but it really depends on the weather.
If your parents are able, I would also suggest not taking the bus trip to the top, and instead just walking the path. You can still see the icefields, maybe not from the top, but you get the experience. There are also signs along the path that tell you what year the ice was there etc. That way, you can just turn back if it becomes too much for your parents, and not have to wait for the bus back!

Good! I can't promise what they will do, some of the CS's will only PM one but that is what the manager did for me last night. Could also be cause I made that call. Can't be certain. She did tell me, and so did the Asst. Manager, that they appreciate couponers and love our business as long as we are being honest about it.

Schwarzie, thanks for your last few posts. They are encouraging. I have been to 130th and they have been great. I have always tried to follow their policy very carefully because I think the LD stacking policy is a privilege and would like to see it stay. I always try to be extra considerate with the staff.
And just to be clear, the Brentwood staff I was dealing with were kind and were trying to understand stacking, but honestly, couldn't understand why LD would be offering such a generous policy (it would be free? Why would we do that...it must be one per transaction). I didn't try too hard to explain it to them because I think it is better learned from within the store management staff rather than myself. It was all very friendly - I definitely do not want to be one of the unwelcome at LD. I hid my disappointment and just smiled through it.
It was just a bit discouraging to put all those stacks together and have them not have a clue about what you are doing. And, then we put what we didn't buy back on the shelves ourselves so that we didn't give them any extra work.

I've been told at LD Beddington you can't use the yellow in store coupons with any other coupons- which totally sucks.
