At Loblaws in Durham Region, they have mushroom compost (not shrimp compost) and premium sheep compost, clearance, $1.94/bag

I saw shrimp compost in Fortino's Garden Centre in April. Not sure if any bags are left among the remaining items plunked by the store entrances.
Walmart bag of sand was $2.99 or so three years ago when I bought one bag. It was heavy lifting and I had borrowed the vehicle to get it. Most of the sand got mixed into pots or flowerbeds to help with the drainage.
So Patty, either you have strong muscles or you took some pain relievers after your clearance shopping trip!
