Wow. It's awesome. So much stuff. That was a joy to see the pictures of your redemption. And awesome using so many coupons too!

One question though, how do you put that much stuff in your cart? Do you fill up one cart, take the other cart, fill it up or do you go to the cashier with one cart, suspend the transaction when one cart is empty, go back again with another cart etc. your answer is going to help me a lot because i have done only one mega redemption and OMG! It was awful. Incy wincy cart, 2 kids, and a very incy wincy checkout counter.

Awesome shop! Are the ROC creams any good? I'd like to buy one for myself and perhaps let DD try, too.

I really like the ROC creams and such. I've been using them for a few years now....what you can't tell I would think most of them are good. I have learned though that I should never by the cheapest, not the most expensive. I look for a good cream that has retinol high up on the list of ingredients, and of coarse a great clearance rack helps a lot too.

I flip flop between ROC and Sonoxin, I LOVE that one too. I stumbled on it on a great clearance rack of coarse, they were changing the packaging, I got 10 or so tubes, regular about $60 each, and I got them for under $5. I remember the receipt said my savings was well over $300 and I didn't even use a coupon! If you can find it in clearance, give it a try. You may get lucky too because the packaging is going to be changed.

Yeah, the carts are pretty nasty, what I do is bring my big Costco bag with me, and slip it on the bag hook just under the handle. You can fit a lot of stuff into one of those bags. Then of coarse the pop and tp/paper towels go on the bottom, then stack very, very neatly....and high. I would never do a redemption with kids though, and I LOVE kids, have 5 of my own (although all grown and have their own babies now). It's hard to keep track of the cost, minus coupons, plus deposits and such, never mind having to keep track of a kid or two as well. I'd go crazy. Good on you girl being able to do that. AND, a great cashier always helps. Mine would set all the stuff on the floor as she rang it in (we did it at the cosmetic counter as the store was busy) and I was bagging it, then we did all the coupons near the end, and a couple price checks because a few things rang in at the wrong price...I think I had a SCOP in there on the coffee, I bought 3 but only paid for two cause it rang up at the wrong price, 12.99 I think and it was suppose to be on sale for $5.99 or something like that.

thanks a lot for your reply. I've been stalking this page since i posted my question here. Lol.

ok. So i dont know how a costco bag looks like. I cant have it because i dont have their membership.
And i cant put coke (6 pack) at the bottom because the carts dont have bottom shelf/rack or whatever they call this thing.
whats wrong with them? Such a big organization offering Canada's best/top loyalty program for customers but dont have big carts to hold big redemption level items in one cart...uugghhhhh!

My kids at a store are just like monkeys in a zoo. Lol. Do thats why i like to take them to walmart but, at other stores, i feel very embarrassed but have no choice. most of the time my husband takes me to sdm but then they stay in the cart waiting for me to come back and tell me how long do i take at sdm . Lol

A Costco bag is about 3 times the size of a normal, say Sobey's reusable bag, it's got a flat bottom and high sides, it holds a lot of stuff. You somehow need to make your dh understand that you can't be rushed when you go to do a redemtions. Perhaps you could plan to do one over a lunch hour, ask dh to take the kids to a Mcdonalds with a play area and treat them to lunch (you can print off coupons for McDonalds so he can save money on that too ), that way, you won't feel rushed, and can slow down and focus on your savings instead of where the kids are. Give it a try, it may help.
