When I got the septic looked at, the pipe going to the septic was blocked with a hard, three foot thick mound of powdered sunlight laundry deteregent..... I e-mailed the company and told them about it. I had to laugh when I saw the sunlight promise of "no headaches and hassles" and I had to add that into my e-mail to them........I am still cleaning up the mess
This actually has nothing to do with sunlight itself. It's the form of detergent. Powdered tide, ABC, Cheer, Gain, whatever, it would back it up.

A quick google search confirms this in multiple places; "Avoid powdered detergents, as they contain non-biodegradable fillers that can plug your system."

It's not sunlight, it's powder in general. Never use powder detergent if you have a septic system.

Note to all who have "Used Pins"

I also had this problem after redeeming my fpc's. I called and spoke with Sunlight this morning and they confirmed someone illegally has been able to generate and enter the pins on many of the products that are still on the shelves : (

Sucks for us but at least Sunlight has confired they are investigating (they asked me to send them my pins back).

Hopefully, they will catch the person who did this!

so i also called, they send me an envelope as well to send them the "used" pins. i can't believe that somebody is doing that? i think more it could be a fault of the company who hosts this contest and they printed double pins.

I have used powdered tide multiple times and have never had this problem. I guess I wont be touching powdered laundry detergent again

I had the same problem with one of my PINS that had already been used. I sent Sunlight an email with the PIN and they replied to me a few days later saying they were investigating the situation.

I also recieved 11 of my 14 FPC's for sunlight detergent today. I'm just going out now to find hopefully 11 more bottles with the PINS on it. I hope they haven't been used as well.

I bought 7 bottles tonight using my FPC's and entered them in the computer. There's a new security feature you have to enter a Captcha code now. I find those things so hard to read but I'm glad they're doing something to fix the problem. Having said that I did have a problem with one of my PINS, I got an error message saying "error with your PIN entry please call Sun products at 1 800 2985021. I'll be calling them tomorrow to see what they have to say.

Having said that even with all the problems I've personally had with this promotion i's still worthwhile. I've received 16 FPC's for Sunlight detergent so far.

I guess they have just changed the wording of "the pin is been used"

Did the no purchase necessary, and just got back the rules and regulations with the "while supplies last" highlighted. Understandable, but it would have been nice to get a short letter saying the no purchase necessary pins were gone, thank you for your essay. Or at least send back my handwritten essay .

Damn, got 2 jugs of detergent with my free coupons and one of them gave me the "error" message. I hate phones, I hate phones, I hate phones! Yes, yes, it's silly, I'm scared of phones, blah, blah, blah. BOOOO-URRRRNS!

And won an $8 Lions King coupon. If someone wants it, please PM me, I already have one and have no need for 2!

To the person who used a generator to enter my pin: Thanks!

EDIT: Whoo, convinced my father to phone for me! The person he talked to was very nice and offered coupons and is sending a pre-paid envelope. Now to make sure I don't lose my pin before it arrives! I put it in a safe spot, but I doubt I'll remember where the envelope arrives! (Note to self: Top-right drawer!).
