I got bogo too. I don't think I have ever had this many offers before happening in a short amount of time from one another.

The Starbucks offers might be a way to entice spending before Cdn. Thanksgiving and end before US Thanksgiving-hence the BOGOs? It cuts through the retail advertising for the holidays.

Update-I had received the get 5 stars and get $5 e-gift. My card is empty since my spring visit, SO this offer is not getting traction. Will have to wait a long time to reload it. Interesting to read of the different star counts for the e-gift. Must be some algorithm that decided the counts.

Their algorithm seems to be the less you visit them, the more attractive their offers dedicated to you. I have a family member who registered a $5 card, used it up and never bothers to reload while paying with credit card instead, and once received email offer of a free tall-size oprah chai tea latte...

Depends on the week. We have two cards, one I use a fair bit and his very rarely. I still get better offers than he does but it may be that my purchases are more varied while his are plain coffee
