I would like to finish my Christmas shopping, or most of it, before the month ends. I also would like to gain 10lbs, and get my house organized for Christmas.

This month our main goal is to get ready for winter (put away Summer toys/etc, rake up all the leaves, prep the snowblower, Krown the van, cement the new walkway).
I also plan to finish shopping for all our occasions before Christmas (sister's bday, dd's bday, anniversary) and get at least half of our Christmas shopping done.

1) Finish up my bedroom makeover.
2) Give the whole house a good fall clean & purge. I've already got a good start on this from last month.
3) Drop one to two inches from my waist and thighs
4) Get our mini-van ready for a road trip at the end of October and then put it up for sale.Last edited by beckie.c; Wed, Oct 1st, 2014 at 01:17 PM. Reason: Dec to Oct... because apparently I can't remember when my road trip is... ohy

Hello everyone,
First off, Thank you to Nat for taking over the QOTD threads for the next little while.
I don't think I mentioned it to anyone except for Nat, that I started work at a new Firm today.
Same work I was doing before, Writing, but at a new place.
So with that, my goal for this month is to put as many names to faces as I can!
New work place, means new people to meet!
Thanks again Nat for heading this up.

I should set a goal or two, but then it stresses me out. So I will say no goal setting this month, just go with the flow of the regular routine around here. Then if any extra things get " done" it will be uplifting!

Well, try to do the things that got neglected by feeling too tired to do anything the last few months.
First off is to finish putting everything back in the laundry closet (well, not everything, which is why it's taking forever).
Then there is the shredding of papers (once I've actually finished sorting them, that is
).
Oh and there seems to be no end to the little bag of beets I bought. I still have 1/3 of a bag to prepare and pickle. Or give to the dog. I know which one she wants.
Have to bake doggy biscuits for Thanksgiving for the neighbour canines (then repeat that at the end of the month for Halloween).
Still have to figure out costumes for the brats. Yes, I know, I need a life. Or a child to torment. Think I'll stick with dressing up the cat.
Lots of odds and ends that never seem to get finished. Like organizing the freezer, so there's more room for beef popsicles.
I think that's it for now, although I'm sure Lily dog and Quincy cat would add naps and playtime to the list.
