Rainy here too, I have a long day so he is on candy duty but will probably be watching a movie and munching on it when I get home lol

I did some shopping on my way into the office today, got a wishlist item and something else for my buddy

picked up some last minute Hallowe'en treats for tonight for 30% off and saw a special something in the store for my buddy

I paid the school 1$ so ds1 could go to the Halloween party in the gym after lunch today. he said he had a lot of fun. rushed home to get them fed. watching my show (fast forwarding past commercials.) then I have to get both kids dressed in their costumes get the stroller up the stairs and walk to a friends house to take the kids trick or treating.

debating which stroller to take. I can take the single stroller and have ds1 walk there which means i could use it if ds2 gets tired of trick or treating, or I can take the double stroller which would be too annoying to take on the busy sidewalks so it would stay in our friends house and I will have to carry both kids candy and ds2 if he gets tired.

Do you have a wagon you could use Francine? Thats what we took if there was no s**w yet when my kids were little. Sorry I cant bare to say that word yet. Its been cold here but other than the tiniest dusting weve havent had any yet and i dont want to jinx it! No snow till after Nov 12 would be great with me. Want to get through this trip without snow would be wonderful!!!!

So I ended up taking a very long nap this afternoon but before that I went to RCSS and did a huge haul! Somehow I managed to score 50000 pc points! I am now waiting for my first trick or treater.

Happy Halloween, All! DF is away on work so I am handing out treats tonight. He does all the cooking so Im watching TV and eating canned chilli etween kids, its a sad sight haha.

No wagon I find strollers work better for us and we can fold them and go on the bus if plans change for any reason. (Bad weather, too tired...)

i ended up taking the double stroller (which stayed in my friends house while we trick or treated) and ds2 had to hold my hand but ds1 was allowed to run with the other kids as long as I could see him. It helped that there were several adults in the group keeping an extra close eye on him. (Because they know I'm overprotective.) he had a lot of fun with his friends and got to stay up extra late. The plan was to go trick or treating as a group and stay at their house until dh got off work at 9pm then take a bus back. We ended up walking back because some of the adults in the group were walking about half way to our place for a Halloween party. We figured we would walk together and save the punches on our bus pass. Ds2 fell asleep in the stroller on the walk home and ds1 went to bed (without being told) and fell asleep as soon as we got home. Had a great day and lots of fun.

Another year down and this momma is pooped!!! Ended up that we had a group of 7 of us from Kaydens class (3 siblings?). It was a great time! Kids are sore and tired so are us parents!! A good sleep and up for 50% off sales tomorrow!

We had a lot of Frozen characters at the door last night but my fave was a slice of swiss cheese and the ghost busters whose dad also tricked out his car and played the music for them
