The past few days have been very slow for mail. All I have gotten is a B-Day Card, and maybe 1 trade. . .

It is very disappointing, I am still waiting on a lot of trades, trains, samples, mc coupons and more!

Today's mail was not bad actually. Makes up for the cable bill that came yesterday. Today I got a trade (yay old dutch chips and 3.00 ground beef) as well as 3x peak freans b1g1 from facebook. The glory of having multiple facebook users in my home. Got 1 from mine, dh, oldest son and still waiting on 1 from younger sons account.

A friend of mine was talking to her mailperson the other day ,he said that CP is thinking of asking people to come in and work from 3pm to 7pm.I used to get my mail at 8am the last 3 weeks it has been coming at 6pm. I have hardly gotten any mail in the last couple of weeks,on tuesday i got 12 trades which some were sent out a month ago.Personally i think CP is going to hell in a hand basket

My mail seems so light lately. Trades seem to be taking so much longer than normal. I really hope my FS GC trade comes in before tuesday, I want to buy the lion king!

Before the mail strike, I get my mail before 10:00AM. After the strike, I get it at around 3:00PM for a couple of weeks. Then around 5:00PM for a couple of weeks. Then 7:00PM for a couple of weeks.

Last Friday, DH checked mail at 7:30PM and nothing. Saturday morning, he checks mailbox and there was mail.

We now call him the Midnight Mailman.

Before the strike I got mail at 11:30 every day. Now Its 5:30pm.

my trades about 4 have them have not been received yet...
and my end is pretty okay... i jus dont get it.. when im mailing things out it takes forever to get to some of my traders

Yeah, I feel your pain...I ordered the Etsy coupon bag on Sept 14 and it said 3 to 5 business days but its been two weeks. Driving me crazy....I need my coupons organized NOW!!! lol

I have this too. I've sent mail to friends and family and it's been no problem; mail comes at "normal" speed and there's no lag.

However....

I sent a trade like 4 weeks ago and haven't either heard from the person I traded with that they received their's or conversely gotten my envie. I actually worry that the other SC is gonna think I stiffed them! Which couldn't be further from the truth!

Oh good...It's not just me! My mail is coming after dinner most nights now, and weeks for most stuff to finally show up

A couple of weeks ago, I had no mail for 4 days. Why is the postal carrier, not carrying a bag, just a few envies in his hand? Bills are coming in late, some envies are taking so long to arrive. CP has always sucked, now they just suck worse than before. The only thing I can count on getting in my mail box is my fliers.

I think mails get delivered 3 times a week here...definitely not everyday.
