I went this morning.....got there right at 9am. They only have 5 shopping carts but plenty of baskets to go around. I was there for 1.5 hours but found that they didn't have nearly enough stuff on the shelves to accomodate a double coupon day. I'm not so sure that I would go back if they did this again.
Other people had tons of stuff in their carts. I was only willing to pay under $1.00 for the items that I couldn't get free and ended up spending $30 still after tax.

The prices were ridiculous, even after a double coupon. It was a waste of a trip to go there. I won't be going again.

i do agree that some of the prices were pretty high. I went just after lunch and most of what i wanted was sold out. I would have gone earlier but was too sore so i missed out. No gillette body wash, no vim, no nivea body wash. I got some GUM toothbruches for just the taxes, sanitary napkins and some cover girl make up lip gloss for my daughter. The brushes and napkins were a good find but the make up was at the bottom of my priority list. I hope it goes better for me next time. If they do this kind of event again i hope they will stock up more now that they know how quickly they sell out of some particular items.

I was there a little after 10am and the gillette body wash was already gone. I was shocked at how high some of the prices were, like the Listerine for example, I think some of them were over $10 and it's $5.77 regular price at Walmart! Most things were just not worth it, even with a double coupon, and the few really good deals must have been out the door first thing this morning.

I didn't bother going. Went on Thursday night to look at prices & everything was too high to make it worth it, even with double coupons.

I went and got a few things for free (just paid the tax) but you had to really watch prices. Unfortunately, the early birds managed to clean out the items that had great sale prices on them that would make them free with coupons for the most part...but...the very nice lady at the cash said they had no idea how popular it would be! Apparently last time they did it, they only had ONE person who filled a cart and had a ton of coupons (and that was a very pregnant ME!) So she said they didn't order any extra stock this time, because they expected the same turnout as before. They were SHOCKED to see a line before they opened. She said next time they'll be ordering extra stock beforehand so that they'll have lots on hand. She said she thought it was a lot of fun, and really hoped that it would happen again before too long! I'm hoping she was right!

That would be great if they could get extra stock. It's a new learning experience for them as much as we are learning to coupon. I will go again when they have the next one. I did end up with several things free only paying the taxes. Like Garysmom said... you just have to keep an eye on the prices.
