I lived way out in Canso - the most easternly tip of the mainland. I am also originally from Ontario too.I liked the east coast much better and the husband likes the west coast, so i guess we are kind of in the middle.

I know that on Turtle Creek road, just past the reservoir and dam, there is a place where there's a sharp bend in the road, right at 4 corners, and it looks like the big old house on that corner might at one time have been a general store. I haven't been out that way in a while (even thought it's only a short drive from me, it's on the way out of town and not really on the way TO anything, so I seldom have a need to go there, except for a nice Sunday drive). Where in NS did you live? I went to school in Halifax, and my boyfriend is from the Amherst/Oxford area. I'm actually originally from Ontario, but have been here for the past 25 years or so...

Hi, The name Riverview sounded familar. Probably about 25 years ago I had relatives that lived there. All I remember is a yellow house near 4 corners and a church nearby. Possibly a real old fashioned general store? I also lived in N.S. for awhile.
