Last December there was a redemption where you'd get 30,000 points back for redeeming 95,000 (still only $170 off - but because of the 30,000 you get back, your points are actually worth more).

Sadly I didn't start collecting points until the year AFTER they stopped doing the $250 redemption. I was so excited to see all these people talking about it, only for it to be $210 (which is fine, just a little disappointing).

The year they had the $250 promo was the year they downgraded the value of the points so I was told they were trying to keep customers (I think the words she used were "As a thank you to our long-term customers"). I remember their stores being so empty-looking after the promo that year, really had little stock until January.

For the past 2 years the summer bonus redemptions worth more @$220 and the November bonus redemption @$210. I am hoping for a points back coupon too.

I'm shopping for White Gift Sunday, which is Dec 7, so I'm on a bit of a time crunch! I think I'll take my $210 and be happy with the extra $40, but I'll definitely keep these tips in mind for next year Hopefully I'll have 95K a bit earlier, to take advantage of $220 in September!

If I recall correctly, the $250 redemption amount was for 2 years.
