Black Friday Bragging!

It is by no means a huge brag but it is a good one. I started off on the Future Shop website right before midnight. I got my printer and blank DVD's into the cart and checked out. It took a bit because I had trouble with Pay Pal. Than I remembered that DUH!!!! I had a FS gift card, so I entered that. Total billed to credit card, $0.73! I got an email tonight saying it had already shipped so I should get them Monday!

I left early for Toys R Us, not knowing how busy they would be. I got there at 5:30 am, no one in sight! I went to Tim Horto's and stayed there till 6;00 to stay warm. Than I walked over. They opened at 7:00 am. There was maybe 200 there than.

They opened and I was #1 in line! I got the Play Doh Gift Set, My Little Pony gift set and a magic crystal set.Than I went to the checkout. I had my 2 $20 off Hasbro coupons. They girl knew nothing about them so she asked a supervisor who asked someone else. Finally she told the cashier to enter the coupons for $20 off twice!

Great thing was, the Play Doh was $12.97, the Pony's were $20.97. The Crystal kit was $19.99 on its own. My total OOP was $13.51!!!! NICE.

Since I am low on funds, every little bit helps!

that's great! I went to TRU today too and used my Hasbro coupons. The supervisor actually tried to enter them in for the full value of what I was buying (27, 24, 25) but I corrected him

Here is something else that is amazing. For BF I got a new printer online from FS. My other printer is out of yellow ink and a new printer is cheaper than the stupid ink! So I got a printer regular $99.99 for $39.99 and a pack of blank DVD's for $9.99.

I got a shipping notice on the Friday night so I expected them Monday (today). My roommate knocks on my door on Sunday afternoon and says "Here, this was in the mail for you." and hands me a delivery tag for Canada Post. I thought "HUH?" so I look up the package online and it was the printer, they attempted delivery on a SUNDAY!?!

So now I have to take the bus up to the SDM, not the close one by me and bring it home anyhow. The SDM is across from the FS so really ordering online did me no good at all!

Oh well, saved me waiting in line at FS I guess and allowed me to score the TRU deals when I did! But who knew that CP did Sunday's? I sure didn't!

The parcel business is CP's moneymaking line. I don't recall hearing about any Saturday delivery announcements for November, as CP did for 2013. CP delivers to the US on Sunday too!
