$520 in Christmas presents, and I just paid the taxes at Shoppers. I have 5 kids , so this is a big help. I sitll have more to get, but this cut's my Chrsitmas spending by about 1/2 for the kids and extended family ! I have a few more things to get , but a good way on the road to be doing.

The only thing I forgot, d'oh! was to pick up a SDM giftcard for $50 to cover the taxes. No idea why, I always do, I guess I Was just excited to do 2 redemptions at once ! First time for me.

First Redemption $214, paid the extra $4 and the taxes...

    Blowdryer for 1 girl
Curling Iron for the same girl
, barbie nail kit for the little one
Light up disovery pillow for little one
max steel toys for older daughter
frozen alarm clock and microphone for little one (frozen obsessed!)
electronic drum sticks for oldest son
make up bag for 1 daughter
hair band kit for little one
alarm clock for older girls room

magasine for me, melatonin (jamieson) and 4 dietcokes

    Sub - $214.27-tax $27.86 = $242.13 - $210 redemption = $32.13 out of pocket (20 points earned)

    SDM redemption 2

Nintendo Wi U- Just dance 2015
Nintendo Wi U - some pokeomon game (I forfet what it is called - it is already hidden away
    discovery light for other son
monster high make up - little one
    lip balms for stocking stuffers
stuffed beanie dolphin for littlest daughter
    Nail dryer for daughter
Nail Kits for the big girls

4 diet cokes, disposible cameras, and cereal

    subtotal $209.52, tax $27.24, redeemed $208.77 - apparently I was a $1 short?) - $27.99 out of pocket

    RCSS

I don't have the receipt right in front of me, but

Holiday Barbie for daughter $49 on sale for $29, $5 coupon from mattel - $24
5 Thomas Trains about $55 in total, $25 coupon on fisher price toy - $30 (for my 2 year old nephew who LOVES thomas!) - I have two extra coupons, I'm passing on to my SIL to use for him for CHristmas as well. THe cashier was amazed that Thomas was fisher price (thanks to whoever on here who pointed that out!), but had no issues putting it through for me.

15,000 points earned for toys (personal offer 5000 points per $25 on toys)

2 sets of pajamas for girls - $20 each (I think?)
2 bathrobes girls $15 each (I think about this)
    2 clearance t-shirts girls - $5 each - $10

Gluten free cereal for 2 kids with celiac - $7

About $180- $30 toy coupons - $100 points redeemed - $50 giftcard I found in my wallet when I was cleaning it out, not sure when it was from, tax taken off.....and about $2 or so out of pocket for the bit not covered by all of the above

I have about 25,000 in SDM points left, so time to start rebuilding. I thgouht I would have enough for one small 3rd redemption, but not quite. BUt, that's okay ! Cashier told me that there would 20X on December 13/14th.

I'm pooped out! All hidden away to be wrapped later!

Wow! You accomplished a LOT in one day!

Isn't that $25.00 Fisher-Price coupon great, especially when you are able to use it on a no tax day @ RCSS AND get PC Plus points, too? I did the same thing!

Hi, I have a question. What's the deal when you buy a shoppers gift card first to pay for the taxes/purchases?

It's an awesome tip from the Smart Canucks SDM gurus . It is a way to rack up more points. If you buy a SDM giftcard for $50, that is 500 SDM points, $100 g/c, that is a 1000SDM points. Then use the giftcard to cover your taxes on redemptions, or any purchases you make for 20X the points or 18500 points events....or when you shop for anything at SDM.
