So I just rec'd a notice from Aeroplan telling me I have til the end of the year to use my miles otherwise will lose them due to inactivity
This is 1 pgm that seems to take forever to accumulate any usable number of miles. Don't know if others are having the same problem building up miles but thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread of what products/promos offer miles. Made this a wiki thread so anyone can add to 1st post but will also I'll try to check & keep updated. Help me out - post your aeroplan pin finds
(Btw, pls pm me if you have any for trade
) Thanks in advance everyone!

one year to use your miles or that you must keep your account active?
I believe that the miles don't expire for 7 years (? may be wrong), but you must keep your account active.
If you shop at Sobeys you can convert their points to aeroplan miles, so it's as easy as buying something from Sobeys once a year.
Or just fill up gas at Esso and have your aeroplan card swiped.Earn FREE PRIZES, Paypal$, Gift Cards with SWAGBUCKS by searching!

Just run out to a grocery store and buy a tub of Nestle ice cream (Rolo, Smarties, Turtles, etc.). They have pins on them and right now are worth 3X the points (15 = 45, 25 = 75!).
We get most of our points that way, also from car insurance (Belair Direct), shopping at Home Hardware... and that's about it.

Miles don't expire for 7 years but it's taken so long to accumulate miles that most are almost that old (have a few miles that are newer) so they invalidate those.
Don't usually shop at Sobey's as it's too far out of the way for me.
Been fueling up at Petro-Can cos I bought some of those discount gas cards but they take foreeevvver to use up - won't do that again. But think I'll do some fill ups at Esso - see if I can get miles high enuff to at least redeem for something.
My freezer is stuffed with ice cream from the cereal promos so don't think I can squeeze in any more. My broker used to have airmiles but they stopped. Next renewal's not til Jul-2012 but will shop around then.
Great idea but we don't drink hot chocolate
Some great suggestions everyone - thanks! Will do a few fuel ups at Esso & try to get to Sobey's

I get multiples of these at work. PM me tomorrow around 6pm (ontario time) and I am sure we can work out a trade.
I usually average around 15-20 PINS a day from monday-wednesday, mixes of the 15pt nestle novelties and the 30pt haagan daas iced creams.

I got 15000 from signing up for my CIBC credit card. Ordered 3 $50 Cineplex gift cards about two months ago. Can't wait to surprise all my friends/family when Twilight comes out!
