I'm glad that Square One's store still will remain open. There are so many residences nearby plus the commuters that come daily and workers too to the mall.

I guess if you see something you want that is 60% or 70% off, might be a good time to pick it up
In my brag, the small gift bags I bought were $0.16 during liquidation and I paid $0.25 before liquidation

Yes. It seems the liquidators have raised some prices and then put up the discount signs.
Sad news today that after April 4, only about 37 stores will be left open.
On a somewhat positive note, some are reporting finding Target merchandise in Dollarama, with the bullseye logo on it.

Three Durham Region women played fairy godmothers Thursday to Target workers slated to lose their jobs next week. Simone Barnard, founder of a children’s entertainment company, noted some customers seeking deep discounts as the stores liquidate their goods were leaving behind a mess for employees in their last days with Target.
Barnard and two co-workers dressed up in full princess gear and showed up unannounced at the Ajax Target location on Kingston Rd., near Harwood Ave.
“We thought this surprise would show the workers they are appreciated and would leave a good memory for them,” Barnard said. “It’s a sad situation. These workers are losing their livelihoods and yet remain pleasant even as their stores are in a bit of disarray,” she said.

new closing dates
now, out of the country by mid April
Some locations have already ceased operations -- 17 stores closed in the middle of March. Another six Target locations will shutter on Monday, while 23 are slated for closure on April 1, and 32 more on April 2.
"It is anticipated that the pace of delivery of vacate notices ... will continue to increase over the next two weeks," the monitor wrote in an update filed with the court. "All stores are expected to be closed to the public as early as mid-April 2015."

Wow, I just realized my store was closing today, oh well. Most likely not worth the drive. I meant to go to Square One while at work but had no time. I think my Target days are over

I went to the Danforth location and it looked like the apocalypse. Garbage all over the floors. The only stuff left was a bunch of Sonia Kashuk foundation ($3. But only the darker skin tones were left). Some people were going through the clothing bins but it was awful. The majority of the store was cordoned off with yellow tape
Everything is 80% off. Store closes Saturday and isn't worth the trip. I liked some of the paper gift bags but we weren't going ot line up for who knows how long just to save a few dollars

it seems the stores only go 90% off on the last day.. and by the sounds of it not at the start of last day (i went through the till at 12:30 and was told that they went 90% off just an hour previously) both stores in my area also went 60-80% off little over a week before closing then 70-80% about 5-6 days before closing 80% off 2-3 days before closing then to 90% the last day
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....
