Target leaving Canada!

I have been debating going to Target during the liquidation process but was wondering if anyone knew if the target card 5% rebate would still be applicable?

I hear theres a lot of theft at target. Certain locations have no loss prevention officers so you can basically just walk out with stuff... Not all locations because i still see target security.

Crazy, who would have thunk it with all those cameras. LOL. I always feel like I am in a casino if I happen to look up. Langley for sure has/had security. There was a very nice woman there most evenings but I haven't seen her in awhile. She was as helpful and friendly as the rest of the staff.

LOL Anyone watching me on the cameras must think I'm insane! Around the store 85 times, scanning things, putting them back... Repeat until baby wakes up 😉 But an employee said to me yesterday "This must be the only place he naps, right?" so I can't be the only one!!

Same. Walking around it yesterday I was a little sad. Its the only store where I knew where everything was and knew a bunch of the staff. A couple of the cashiers yesterday said that they are sad that they won't get to see my son grow up.

Anybody been to Scottsdale lately? I might go there today.

vw_girl how was maple ridge. I was there a few weekends ago and it was full of stock including toys but not much on clearance.

I never made it to MP but am still deciding my plan of attack today. If toys looked good to you I may have to check it out. I am in search of a few barbie items. Langley had about 15-20 Glampers this time last week and nothing last night. Also hoping to find one more dream house of any kind. I will try to update after I make my rounds tonight.

When you are there near the toys, check that far corner. There were more toys there including the bigger barbie and Lego stuff. Wouldn't want you to miss out!

As long as your not wearing pajamas Since all of the "Original" Target shoppers have taste maybe you should wear Tiara's or Crowns.

I read on the Toronto Star site yesterday that for a two week period in January after they annouced they were closing sales were 30 million more than forcasted.

At ours again. So many more things today. It's like things are getting the prices from last year's clearance. Little tikes cook and grow bbq $12, little tikes first slide, $12, little t ball thing $6. Some Easter candy 36 cents, chocolate sponge bobs 85 cents. No clearance stickers just check price tags.

Well I wasn't going to go today (yeah right!) but now thanks to sotypical it looks like I have to go... LOL... Funny that some of us are rushing to get in *before* the liquidation "deals", because these are probably the best prices we will see for a long time!

Ok Scottsdale was fairly well stocked. Was able to grab the last pet bed at $8.99 (yay). Also had two pack fp wheelies for 2.39. Some Thomas stuff left that scanned at 70%. Picked up a couple of toddler games for $5. They didn't have any of the Little Tykes stuff mentioned but lots of bikes etc not discounted. Some Xmas stuff out at 70% including storage.

Have you seen any LEGO products or Christmas lights on clearance at the Scottsdale, Delta location???

That is good news that at least some Canadian Targets have Easter stuff!!! The employees at my nearest Target store weren't sure there if they will get any Easter merchandise this year (with us in seeing that all Targets in Canada are going to be shut down by May 16th at the very latest in time!).

At the maple ridge store that back toy area was looking pretty empty. They have condensed a lot of it to the main isles.

I was just at the bramalea city centre target. Still pretty well stocked compared to the trinity location. Only huge negative was bcc removed all of their scanners!! So you have no idea if anything has been marked down or not. I found maybe 4 clearance stickers in the whole store (well where I looked anyway). Ended up buying clearance 4 pack of carter boys nursing blankets for $10 reg $14 so not really a deal but they were super cute. I sure hope they put the scanners back on Thursday or else it'll be really annoying to check the prices at the self check out lol. I hope the "Black Friday" deals are worth it and not just 20% off considering I took half of a day off to get there in decent time. I'm so sad to see all of the stuff I love so much she gone. I was so tempted to buy everything regular price just so I can get it before it's gone!! We are building a house and I was looking forward to having all of the beautiful decor spilling out of my house! 😟

I was going to stop at the Rymal one in Hamilton today but didn't think I had time. I may go on Thursday now and see if they started liquidating since the word is it starts Thursday after court hearing Wednesday.

Not sure what I will end up getting but after yesterday, a back saving snow shovel is tops on my list! Will advise if I do go!
