I think I'll give this a try. And Noodge I appreciate SC for the community and these "points" type threads are great at getting to know people.

I'm a little sensitive so I hope I didn't sound snarky as that was not my intent towards you, Giving-Small. I can see by your join date and posts that you give lots back to SC community. I should have been more specific.

See, I stick to just this thread on SC. I meant that there are a lot of other P&P forums out there on the world wide web that only list words because our chit-chat makes it cumbersome to them. Yet, they take their words from SC one way or another. I am pleased as pie that you decided to give P&P a try and look forward to becoming acquainted! We'll do all we can to make sure you have all the points possible that are out there.

Hi all!

My friend is home from the hospital! Yippee!!! They kicked her out on Thanksgiving...which would have been fine if the powers that be had organized home care for her. Good thing her niece from out of town came to stay with her.

She's a stubborn gal (must be why we're friends - we're too similar ), but dealing with a lot of frustration, so still a bit stressed. Silly gal has been doing all sorts of things that she shouldn`t be doing (like vaccuuming & dusting!), just cause she wants her life back asap.

I convinced her to take a break & play a round of Scrabble - I teased her that she should be hopped up on pain meds & anaesthetic more often so I can actually beat her. Good thing we both have a very warped sense of humour.

Thank you all sooo very much for the prayers and well wishes. I am so very lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. I must have done something very very good in a past life to be so blessed.

So glad that your friend is at home and doing better---will continue prayers!
