I appreciated everyone's feedback from my first x20 shop day planned at Shoppers last month, so I thought I would post my first redemption. The Cosmetics redemption bonus they had on this weekend is not my thing but I had enough points to redeem 38K for $60 and still have enough left on hand to keep me in the highest tier.
I ended up using 38K pts / $60, $18.11 out of pocket which $8.39 was tax.
The Shoppers receipt said I saved $ 42.64 based on their sale prices vs regular pricing.
I used a $1 off shoppers email cpn on Crest, and found a Cereal with a red $4 off mgr cpn and also used $45.75 in manufacturers cpns.
Here goes,
2 for $4 Large Cadbury Bars
2 for $4 Natures Organic Soy Bev.
2 Campbell CM soup @ .69
1 PC Paste Marinara Sauce $3.99
1 Kelloggs Granola $6.49 - $4 red cpm =:$2.49 ( has code inside for fpc to send online a.s.a.p)
1 Whiskas Cat Temptations $1 on sale
2 for $1 Carnaby Valentine Candy
4 Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars at $2.49 with
2 Quaker Rice D.P. Rice Crisps @ .99 to use my 2 spend $5 on Quaker products cpns to get 2 FREE Quaker Oatmeal Soft Cookies ( $2.49 each)
1 Crest Pro Health T.P $2.99 - $1shoppers cpn, and -$1 tear pad cpn = .99
1 VH Steamer $2.99 - $1 insert = $1.99
1 Aveeno Body Wash $4.99 and 1 Aveeno Intensive Cream $5.99 minus -$5.00 when UB2 Aveeno products printable from H.E.s
2 Sparkle Scope Mouthwash @$4.99 - BOGO tearpad = $2.49 each
1 Kelloggs Special K 4pck Breakfast Drink @ $8.49 used FPC from box code redeem FREE
1 PC White Tuna @ $1.79
1 Lindt Valentine 3 Choc. @ .70
1 lrg Neilson Cottage Cheeese @ 2.29
1 Blistex lip balm @ $2.79 - .75 insert cpn.
2 Balance Bars @ $ 1.99 each - B2 save $1 gocpn.
1 Secret Deodorant $2.99 - $1.50 SS print
1 Oil Olay facial toner $6.29 - $2 print
Ah ha, now that I am typing this... some of the extra money. I thought I was very close to 60 minus cpns.
2 Marcelle Facial Wipes for my nieces on the shelve were $9.99 each , minus 2 tearpad $5 off. They rang up at $12.95 each. No biggie. So $7.95 each instead of $4.99 each.
Earned 360 regular points. I looked for products with straight up points but nothing interested me. I wasn't going to use pts / buy 2 extra large Cadbury bars which I like at $6.99 each just to get 1000pts
Thanks to everyone on the S.C. Forums. I really read a lot of threads for hints and learned the value of using coupons on redemption for things I use and need. I think I pushed this with cpns to get an extra $50.75 on top of the $60, strictly on cpns. I guess you could also add the $42.64 saved based on their receipt between regular price and sale but I never give that too much credence as I don't buy a lot of things unless they are on sale. Thanks for reading. ***Edit: After posting and looking what I typed coupons total to products, the Cashier posted an extra orphaned $5 off 2001 vendor cpn **** All pretty much works out in the end.Last edited by rayraycanuck; Mon, Feb 16th, 2015 at 02:49 AM.

wow amazing shopping!!! when the facial wipes rang up at $12.99 (higher than $9.99). SCOP or scanning code of practice states that you get an item under $10 for free. If they have different upc codes you get both for free. If item over $10 you get $10 off. Shoppers has alot of wrong prices out there so keep an eye out.

Awesome redemption! And you learnt a lot in a very short time. Good for you!
And i second debvictoria. You should've gotten one pack of wipes for free and one for $9.99. If it's possible can you talk to your sdm that they owe you $12.99. ($10 for the first one and $2.99 for the next one they overcharged!)
But very nice shopping skills and you have a great eye to look for the deals!

First wipe should only have been 299 and the other for the sale price unless it was a different colour or UPC. Then minus your coupons but over all great shop

Very nice shop.... On the FPC for the Kelloggs Shakes - is there a max value on the coupon? I've ordered some but haven't received them yet
Thanks
On the Marcelle wipes - I bought some a while ago - on sale and then $5 off - and I really like them
