Chicken, chicken, I've got chicken ! (with picture)

Since I found the Uncle Ben's rice with the $10 of coupons in it, I wanted to get the best possible value from these.
I decided that I'd like to pay only $2/lb at most, thus getting 2 pounds of chicken per coupon.
Well, I hit the jackpot at Walmart tonight.
I found 12 packages of chicken at $1.97/lb for a total cost of $54.57. Take off 12 X $4 coupons ($48.00) = $6.57
for 48 pieces of chicken!!
These Uncle Ben's $4 chicken coupons are amazing!!!!

To top off my shopping today, I also found the Astro Zero yogurt with the pins for $1.99 each at my Sobey's

You got that right--just finished spending 3 1/2 hrs preparing it for the freezer--removing the skin and fat, cutting into 2 pieces, and bagging it ready for a meal.
But now, I've got chicken ready for 24 easy meals!!! So worth it.

Wow, those $4 coupons are good for you. AWESOMEEEEE. Wish I can find those rice tubs and take advantage of those coupons too. Maybe one day I will find them. It's true it doesn't come often for that price. Once I had the coupons, I made a conscience decision to keep checking any chicken I saw and was on the lookout for a good deal. Normally I would have not even noticed this.
