Finished that one a few days ago. I liked Sydney's character a lot. Right now I'm reading Dark Debt by Chloe Neill

i liked sydneys character also.. and i found i was enjoying Adrians POV more then hers lol i just wish the book wasn't so short.. they needed about 3 more chapters.. they needed to have the big family talk out with Adrians mom talking to sydney (they did cover a bit of it in a talk with Adrian and his mom) and a big talk out with Adrian and sydney but the end just seemed so rushed the epilogue i was just hoping for more and flush out the aftermath stuff a bit more..
i hear for the moment she has no more books planned for that world.. but she hasn't ruled out another spin off... but.. if she does do a spin off who would the spin off really be about? which minor character within that world could be strong enough to have a solid adventure yet still remain in/on the cusp of that world.. angelina? Trey? someone from the coven??
i really need to find a new series though...
with bloodlines now done, no more southern vampire series (aka true blood), and it seems i'm waiting forever for the next iron druid chronicles and Dresden files....
I've only read the Bloodlines series so am not overly familiar with the other characters. I did, however, watch the Vampire Academy movie.
There's a few series that I really like... The Hollows by Kim Harrison, Elemental Assassin by Jennifer Estep, Jane Yellowrock by Faith Hunter or if you want a bit of comedy, Undead series by MaryJanice Davidson.
the vampire academy series is good (the books) it does have a bit of Sydney in it and Adrian ofcourse
i'll admit i like young young adult genre it's easy reading often light and fun.. though sometimes something a bit more humour is good.. i don't think i'm a high drama person i need a book i can pick up and read a chapter or 5 chapters one that will sweep me up into the story (like the vampire academy/bloodlines series did, hunger games did, even the divergent series did--though the last book in that series really sucked lol she did not do multi character POV well at all)
Our Target will officially close on Mar. 22 so maybe I'll drop in tomorrow to sniff out any last minute deals.
I have a planning meeting tomorrow with a couple that I will marry in June. Wedding season is sneaking up on us.
i'm dreading that announcement that target will officially close it's doors...
i really need to figure out something for dinner.. though i don't think i'm hungry.. not worth getting dressed to go out and get something.. that's just too much effort
lasagna is pretty easy.. well atleast how i make it.. i make a spaghetti sauce.. use a box of lasagna noodles then it's just layers sauce cheese noodle sauce cheese noodle sauce cheese noodle.. if your using a larger pan you cross hatch the noodles to prevent falling apart but when making in a loaf pan you don't even need to do that.. i also preblend my cheese while i grate it (mozza and cheddar since i'm out of my fancy pants cheese)
*sigh* That is so great! It uplifts my heart when my girls are smiling and have a happy day and then are tuckered out.
I posted on another thread that I took my girls to the off leash dog park for the first time and was so proud of their manners and over the moon watching how much fun they had.
