I think it was the smartsource insert on jan 10th if I remember right...and its walmarts coupon policy to give overage, (if they don't send in a complaint to the head office, that's what I did and the head office sent my walmart an email saying they need to, and they finally started giving me my overage.
in my opinion walmart should honor regardless of what the coupons states because no store ever gets "overage" back, walmart is taking that "overage" as a loss to get more customers, because in there minds, a little money is better than that money being spent somewhere else

So what you're saying is that Walmart should ignore the manufactuers rules in regards to how the coupon should be redeemed and take the chance that they then not get reimbursed for the full face value of the coupon should they ever be audited by the manufactuer (or clearing house) because they didn't follow the strict rules for redemption. Yeah, not so sure I could see Walmart doing that, do you know how much money they would lose out on? Its kinda like saying that they should accept several of the same coupon towards the correct amount of products even though it stimulates one per customer. Yes, in their coupon policy they are supposed to accept multiples of the same coupon but if the coupon says they aren't allowed the it really doesn't matter what their stupid policy says because the manufactuer can decided whether to reimburse or not and Walmart isn't an idiot they know that risk and wouldn't be willing to take it.
I'm not trying to be rude or single you out because I think actually now that quite a few SC members have abused the toothpaste deal which then in turn makes couponing harder for those of us that follow the rules on the coupons because now Walmart won't get reimbursed (if they are audited, and believe me it happens more then you like to think) and so will give everyone a harder time in the future when some of us have been playing by the rules the whole time.
And I should mention that when Walmart (and every other store) gives you overage they do still get the full face value of the coupon back IF everything was done correctly so they don't offer it specifically as a loss just to get more customers. Thats why some of us feel it is unfair when stores like RCSS enter the coupon as less just to cover the cost of the product because they still get reimbursed the full face value not the retail value of the item we bought.Insert Clever Signature Here

Glad I did...it was like he was on front me of me and when I saw cashier asking for 6.25, and it was the only thing he bought, I was SHOCKED so I look at him with my mouth wide open and then put hand in my purse to grab that $2 off coupon while staring at him. I took it out and he got crept out or something that he just started walking out. I *think* he must be thinking that I must be giving him my phone number or something...HA
