What is considered a good price for the bags of frozen fruit?

A couple of weeks ago I was at Loblaws and they had Welches frozen fruit bags (600gm) for $2.99. This wasn't in the flyer and there was a freezer full at the back of the store and thought they are trying to clear them out. I go back a week later and the same freezer is still full and the price was now $5.99!
Since then, I've tried to track the price and often see the bags (other brands like PC) for $3.99 and $2.99. Is $2.99 a good price? Or could I get them for cheaper?

    TIA!

2.99 is the lowest I've ever seen for that size, usually on sale for 3.99 - any brand.

Yea, I usually buy it when it's under $4. I made a peach dessert yesterday from a bag of Welsh's frozen peaches.

Never bought welch's, usually buy europe's best. The best deal I have ever gotten on EB is $3.33 a bag at shoppers on 20x points day essentially making them $2.50 roughly depending on how much the points are worth on redemption. The Europes Best are 600 gram bags. hope this helps. I haven't gotten this price since last year so not sure if the Loblaws takeover will result in higher prices

Thank you all for the quick replies!

This really helps. I know now to stock up if I see the bags for under $3.
