Do you have to line up to see each teacher? That's how they do it at my daughter's highschool and sometimes you have to wait quite a while for some! It's great she's doing well, mine has been doing well too although there is more work this year (Gr. 11)

Yes the line ups were unreal. We got there @ 6:34 doors opened at 6:30!

My daughter is in grade 12 and has 1 in grade 11 that she had to redo
when she became ill in December.... She missed too much.
Besides, she is not ready for university.
She doesn't have much home work.
She does a great deal of it in class.

I finally got the call to talk about the details for the trip. We asked if we can go a few days sooner and they're ok with it. We are hoping to get 3 extra nights so that we can see a few things while we're there. We still don't know where we are staying, but they figure it will be close to the venue. Once we find out, we'll decide if we stay in the same hotel for the other 3 nights or go somewhere else.... (They wanted our credit card number to book the extra hotel stay, but we didn't give it since they couldn't give us the name of the hotel .... I'm not too worried... I'm sure we'll be ok for the other 3 nights)

Domenik Diamond sent me an e-mail tonight and asked if he could call me after the show to give him a review - and I agreed... He figured we'd be getting out of the concert around the start of his show... I asked Domenik for his recommendations and he's been awesome!! It's hard to figure out what you want to do or see when you don't know what there is to do or see. I also spoke with a coworker whose wife is from Scotland and everyone said that Edinburgh is a must!! I'm really looking forward to this... If we leave when we want, I'll be on a plane this time next week!!!

(Have I mentioned that I'm pretty excited about this??? )

The contest is messed up but there is no indication that the dj's have any knowledge or input. Why would they even care? They come in, do their show and leave.

Yes you have mentioned your excitement! Don't blame you at all! Did they put you up for three nights or what? It is fantastic you can stay longer, a lot of times they won't let you.

Yes, we were happy when we found out that we could go a few days earlier!! It's a long way to fly for only two nights.... (two nights were included in the prize Oct 30 - 31st). Even 5 nights is not a lot when you are going so far, but I am not complaining at all!!!

Hubby and I were actually trying to go to Europe to celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, but it didn't happen for various reasons... these extra few days are making up for the trip we never got to take earlier this year!! (I've never been to Europe before and it's been on my bucket list for quite some time...) Seeing Alice Cooper on Halloween night is just very sweet icing on the cake!!!!
