Smartsource Printing Problems - Fixed...

So, I was printing these fine, until my computer died of old age. I replaced it this week, went to print my SS coupons and they suffered from the problem of text being cut off at the bottom and the expiry date being squished out. This makes it difficult to redeem. I remember others having this problem.

Anyways, it is 12:30am, and after many wasted coupon prints, I think I finally have fixed it. Coupons are coming out perfectly. Just wondering, are others still having this problem? Should I post how I fixed it or is everyone printing fine now?

I tested this three times to ensure this was the fix for the problem. It may be different for others but this is what fixed it for me. I am using IE, but I don't think it matters.

To fix this, you need to change the text size of your computer because the monitor's dpi (dots per inch) setting is too large, which enlarges all text everywhere, which makes it is too big for the available space, so it cuts off.

1) Go to Control Panel -
2) Select Appearance and personalization
3) Select Display - Make text size larger or smaller or Change text size
4) Select default or 100% or just a smaller text size if already at default
5) Click Apply
6) System may have to log off.

Once logged on again, try to print, should work.

YESSSSSS! It works!!
Finally, I havent been able to print smartsource coupons since they launched the site.
I thought I was pretty good with computers but I guess not. I couldnt figure out why it would cut off my expiry date and the coupon wording!

I only had problems with the Resolve/Woolite coupon, everything else printed fine

If you have issues with coupons printing with no images, they say it is likely you have 2 instances of java installed (a few versions of java did not delete the old one on upgrade) so delete them all and install a fresh one and it works
