Thread: Free Kraft Dinner!!!
-
Sat, Oct 22nd, 2011, 01:36 PM #1
This week at Sobeys the Kraft Dinner is $1.99, quite expensive, BUT you get 300 Sobeys points for each one!
I bought 15 boxes of KD at 1.99
2x Axe Deoderant Spray at 3.00 - 2.00 coupon from smartsource May 7 = 1.00 each
Subtotal was 31.85 plus 0.78 tax, so 32.63.
Redeemed $30.00 in Sobeys Points (3750)
BUT gained 4535 points for the transaction.
Total Paid was 2.63, earned 785 points (or $6.28 in points)
So I got free product plus made money in points!!
Woot! Woot!

is there a difference in sobeys points and airmiles?
-

Yes.
Sobeys points are used for rewards at any Sobeys stores. Can be redeemed for cash off your purchases, as well as going online for other merchandise. Sobeys points can be converted into aeroplan miles. Sobeys are 1 point for every $1 spent. The real key is to buy the items that have bonus points along with them.
I am not to knowledgable of the Airmiles, but airmiles at 1 point for every $20 spent.
