I just got back from my week long vacation from Cuba this morning! I was beyond excited to see what I got for mail. A few websaver envelopes, breathe right strips and my full sized bottle of La Roche Posay ultra toleriane from Facebook (super excited to try this since I have super sensitive skin)
Now the big disappointment! Got a PM from a user I was doing a trade with. I received her envelope a day before I left for Cuba. She received mine today (way late which surprised me) and she informed me the envelope was sliced open at the bottom and was completely empty when she opened it. I had no idea people would sink so low as to steal coupons from the mail!! I'm completely disgusted and let down. Has anyone else experienced something like this? This thread is currently associated with: Websaver

my sister has never recived any of the coupons samples or anything that we have sent to her house....no save.ca web saver or P&G ...I have told her to stop ordering them ...only thing I can think is that someone is stealing her mail....

She should get it sent to another family member or friends address. It sickens me that people would stoop that low.

Oh, that is just crazy...

Is there any way that someone other than Canada Post could have accessed her mail? DH keeps telling me when I gripe about CP "there's no way they would risk their job for a couple of coupons"... not sure I agree.
Congrats on the fun mail, in any case

Wow, that really sucks! I am always worried about that to be honest (stealing mail). Sometimes I send out envelopes totally nervous that someone handling the mail will see a "$1.00 off" or whatever through the envie and decide to open it

Oh no thats horrible! I always wrap my coupons in folded paper, so it looks more like a thick letter you can't see whats inside, and i tape the crap out of the seams on the enevelope from the outside. Those suckers won't "accidentally" fall out.. lol

I don't think they were necessarily after the coupons . Sometimes through the envelope you can see the bar code of the coupons & the dollar values etc ..sometimes people think there are cheques inside or money inside or something like that .
Depending on the area mail theft is not as uncommon as people think .
Luckily I've a closed & locked community mail box at the end of the street for my house ..its harder to break into .

Wow. I wonder if this is why my husband's coupons & samples that get sent to his parents house never show up

Definitely going to be changing the envelopes I use / wrapping the coupons from now on.
