If its something like a cold, or allergies, I just pop some meds and head out on my way.
Sick to my stomach usually means I'm staying in bed for the day.

I usually just take a couple of pill and try and get on with the day, but I will take it easy if it's the flu or I feel really bad.

I usually do the medicine route until I crash, then I need actual rest to recover, then wash and repeat.

I try and motor through most of it only stopping when I, as Candini says, crash or when I'm contagious.

Good question OP.
Worked on Saturday and stopped into Giant Tiger. Only one cash open. The cashier was sniffling and coughing. So every customer she had could be infected. Found some hand sanitizer at another cash desk and used it.
Back to the question, when sick, I try to stay home so I don't do like the cashier. If it's a cold, then rest, fluids and vitamin C (early stage = effective).
