My family wants to purchase our first Tassimo machine, and are wondering where to get the best deal! A week or so ago when we were in the city, we saw one for $80.00.......should we have bought it there? (Home Outfitters).

That Home Outfitters' price-is that with a coupon or not? Best price yet in Canada that I know of.

In the flyers, one place showed the Tassimo unit at $94 (it's in the Walmart ON flyer). Offer is good until Oct. 27.

Keurig unit at Home Outfitters is showing as $99.99 in the 12th anniversary flyer.

I was actually looking online for these this morning. I did notice that there was quite a few different, price ranging from $150-250 reg. price. That's from my quick search on Sears.ca so I didn't get these price from an extended research. Not sure if they had all types either So I'm just wondering what the benefits of an $80 Tassimo would be.

So you should still spend a little bit of time to check all the feature as I think the cheapest one would be bulky and really basic maybe?
Oh and I don't think you should post questions here, there is a section for this somewhere, the thread keeps getting bumped once in a while...

Thanks for the advice, everyone. The Walmart deal sounds the best, as it's a good price and close to me. Thanks a bunch!

The local Walmart has the $94 showing for the black unit. Caution-the symbols don't have contrasting paint but are cutouts that are hard to see against the unit body. The white model unit did not have a shelf tag--black contrast is used for the symbols. I only saw the black and white model units, not stock boxes.

Cdn Tire is selling the T20 model for $149.99. The next model up is $30 more.

I did notice one grocery flyer showing a Tassimo unit-either IGA or Metro. Check to see flyer offer. *Update-it was in the Quebec IGA flyer, just above the Stella Artois listing. Machine is selling for $99.99. http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/243999-...0-26-a-canada/

In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of each?
What is a good price for either?

I have a Tassimo and love it.

    Tassimo Pros
-The barcode technology that adjusts cup volume, temperature, and brew technique to match the coffee.
    -Frothed milk
    -Cappuccinos, Lattes and Expressos!
    -It's so quick!

I've only had two coffees made in the Keurig, and in my personal opinion, the taste was similar to instant coffee.

    Tassimo Cons
-The coffee sometimes splashes a bit, nothing a damp cloth can't handle
-It's a little loud... not annoying, you just know when it is on.
Step away from my coupon binder and no one gets hurt.
