Wonderful that you got the coffee Can you price match the sale to a store closer to you ? I usually go to the RCSS since they always have stock

There was a sale this week or last week - about Kotex pantyliners - and they were sold out at WM. I asked if they gave rainchecks the employee told me they don't give them and the items in the flyer are "while quantities last". I though that was odd. I'll bring it up with a manager again if there is an item i need!
I thought I was the only one frustrated by them having none in stock on the very first day it is advertised. It's not like they could have sold out, I was there Friday at 7:00 a.m. when they opened.
I went again on Sat at 7:00 a.m. still none, they checked for stock in back, and by searching on the scanner thing. I was lucky enough to get a raincheck for 6 pkgs, and it says on it " valid for 2 weeks". ( I wanted to use the 3 x $2.00 off wyb 2 coupons with this sale )
So I went again Sunday at 7:00 a.m. again hoping, but none still.
I did speak with the manager, he kept trying to offer me the wrong ones
( I guess he didn't understand the words long, with wings, overnight , lol)

I am not sure how the rain check expiry is calculated, it states the date I was there ( 15th ), so would it be 14 days from that date? Oct 29th?
Guess I will have to mosey over there again.

Sorry you could not even get a rain check FrugalKris

One of the walmarts I shop at will sometimes be out of stock, but I have gotten a rain check before for items on sale, you should maybe ask for a manager. Also, price matching can solve issues if it is required right away, assuming you have a store that will pricematch that is close by.

When I went to the service counter, they first said they don't give rain checks. I, and an older nasty guy in a wheelchair, were complaining so they phoned the manager. While he was on the phone I spoke loudly that I had ridden over etc. and the manager told them to hold 4 jars for me when it came in. The girl wrote down a note saying I was good for 4 but said it wasn't a rain check!

They called me a day later and when I went down they only had 2 jars. I stood up to them again, and this time they stamped a receipt "rain check" and have since phoned me with the other two.

This deal saved me about $6 X 4 = $24.00, yet dozens of other people who showed up did not force the issue and got nothing. Why Walmart would do a full page on a sale when there was no product astounds me, but so does their refusal to honor the price without a fight. Lesson: Be loud and beat them up with common sense.

I have gotten rain chk's from walmart..and the limit on a rain ck is 6..

taken straight from the flyer "while it's our intention to have every advertised item in stock, occasionally an item may not be available due to unforeseen difficulties. In such cases we'll issue you a rain check (at your request) so you may buy the item at the advertised price when it becomes available...Not available for limited quantity or clearance items which are available only while supplies last."

its on the last page very small and hard to find but always there if you ever need to back up your claim that walmart does indeed issue rainchecks.
