    I was in walmart square one saturday night. I was trying to price match for pampers diapers advertised for 19.99 in shopper's flyer.
    I was so surprised that not only cashier even their CSM and assistant store manager didn't know how to read the flyer.
    They have made picture of pampers and huggies box diapers with price 19.99. below that there is a line and then it's given pamper(180-216's) baby wipes or huggies wipes for 5.99
    I picked up a box for pamper swaddlers size 2 having 84 diapers. Walmart cashies argued that box should have 180-216 diapers. I tried to explain her that is for wipes. But it was useless. I called CSM and then assistant store manager on duty. To my surprise they also said same thing.
    I was so frusturated and at same time felt helpless. I asked them if i picked up that big box then will u sale it for 5.99 as that is advertsied for 5.99. I wasted an hour there and then I decided not to shop walmart ever.
    It's such a waste of time. I regular shop there but after this incident they will be losing all my business. I was so suprised when I found that even their manager don;t know how to read flyer. This manager was too rude also. I complaint their head office too. I got a call from their store manager today saying bring your flyer today only and he started explaining me about percentage off when doing price match. I said i was not doing percentage off. Price was clearly mentioned. Then he said come to store today only and he will look into this. I said I am not interested anymore. They have lost a loyal customer. There are other stores who offer better service and their staff is better educated than yours.
    Even in past I have seen this walmart has worst customer service. Thanks to same manager.

    too bad they lost your biz.....i always have the issue at my local WM...what policy will apply this week? because it always seems to be different....try to perservere...print off the coupon policy for them so its black and white....maybe that will help...there is always the district manager to appeal to....

    I can't imagine how frustrating that was for you. Didn't Walmart's manager see how ridiculous the situation was? 180-216 diapers for $5.99???? Obviously that price was for the wipes!

    yes, two of the assistant managers read the flyer and they also understood same. That's why I was more pissed off. I realised it wil be waste of time to argue with them. Erin mills walmart in mississauga has best staff and mangers. Normally I shop there only though it's quite far from my home.

    No, they were still arguing the price will be 19.99 as picture says. They can't read simple english also.
    I was buying 84 diapers but according to them there should be 180-216 diapers lol.
    Even they didn;t understand what baby wipes means. After that I felt I am speaking to stupid ppl so better don;t time waste.

    I had issues with this WM a few months ? ago. But now they accept coupons and allow price matching again. I am back. The last time there's this ah how do I say this CS lady, she's around 30ish and looks Indian / Middle Eastern and she's clueless about coupon. The cashier is more knowledgeable but was instructed not to accept printable coupon, pm with coupon ect. so she called her over and the CS declined all my coupons. I was so upset i didn't buy anything. The only decent person there is the male assistant manager, last time the cashier was giving me a hard time about using the free $5 off ANY BRAND icecream, and she insisted I get General Mills icecream, he came right over and told her it's good for any brand and the defiant cashier keep saying "but she's getting it's for free" . Finally she put the coupon through and shove the icecream to me without saying a word.

    That`s ok, I had a problem at this location also. And the CSM was talking to the cashier in a completely different language such that I couldn`t understand what they were saying. After that I vowed not to go to that location again

    yes, I also faced problem at this walmart before also. But this time they crossed all limits. It's good to know that other ppl have bad experience at this walmart too. I would like to know abt others experiences and I am planning to take it up with their head office. Walmart is a corporate store and noone should be allowed to make their own policies and they should train their staff properly.

    We are lucky our Walmart is great! The manager told me they like to make it easy to price match and use coupons, because they want the business.

    I have had a similar experience, unfortunately. I tried to PM to shoppers, was told that unless it was the product shown "exactly" in the picture, they wouldn't do it. After about 10 minutes of arguing, I was able to get the PM through, but was then told that I was not able to use my coupon on the item, because it is one or the other. The CSM came over, and they were speaking in another language as well, and the CSM agreed with the cashier. I left my purchases that day, and haven't been back. Maybe we should all start calling in to head office and complaining about the terrible service experiences we have had there, and see if they will correct the situation?

    i hate this walmart, staff are rude, they are so disorganized, i refuse to shop there.

    i would have asked them to go get me several boxes of diapers with 150 in it...i'd gladly take them for 5.99
    ....just be happy
