When using a bogo coupon at a store that has a limit on number of products a person can buy does it work like this: bogo coupons, $3.00 item on sale, limit of 4. Pay for 2 and get 2 free
or: bogo coupons, $3.00 item on sale, limit of 4 so buy 8. 4 for the limit the store sets and 4 free due to bogo coupon. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

You just buy the amount of the limits, unless you want to pay over the limit price, and in that case the free item coupon would be for the item with the lowest cost. You wouldn't be maximizing your savings this way. If you have extra coupons, either have someone else buy it on another transaction, or come back another time during the sale.

My experience has been if you tell the cashier you want the Free one to be the over the limit price they will do it gladly.
I've done this when there is a 3 limit and I'm buying 4 with B0G0 coupon.
