I did one redemption before without Chris. This one was a team effort. Between him and I, we had enough for 50,000 points. So we transferred points from Chris' card to mine to bring my balance up to 50,000 exactly and off to SDM we went...
Here is the booty:
1 Dayquil Sinus $6.99 SALE
1 Plastic Bag $0.05
1 Royale Bathroom Tissue $5.99 SALE
3 LB Facial Tissue @ $0.49 each SALE
1 4 pack Fusion Power Razor Blades $21.99 SALE
3 6X710ml Pepsi 2@2/5.00 1 at 3.99
1 International Delights Coffee Creamer $5.29
1 Danone Strawberry Yogurt $2.49 SALE
1 Plastic Bag $0.05

Subtotal: 109.73
FREAKING HST: 13.24
32 items TOTAL: 122.97
Opimum Rewards: 100.00
Total OOP: 22.97!!!!

"You have saved $44.84"
Points:
Regular Points 150
Total Points Earned Today 150
Total Points Redeemed Today: 50000
Current Points Balance 150!
Now during the shop, I had a calculator with me and we kept track of each thing that went into the cart. We had it up to $101.XX so Chris went and asked the cashier if the $100 had to be before or after coupons... she said after coupons, so we went back and grabbed a couple more things. I was actually surprised when the total came out over $22.00 more then the $100.00 but looking at it now, I realize the subtotal before tax was only $109.73 after the coupons... so we did play our cards right!
All of this stuff is stuff that we use and won't go to waste... The only thing we payed full price on was the coffee creamer (we can get it over $2.00 cheaper at WM but figured what the heck, it drove up the total!) and the "Eyeballs", they are going to my grandson on Halloween since we have no candy to hand out because neither one of us will be home!!!
Thanks goes out to all of the SC'ers here who made this possible!!!! I used to consider a $10 redemption to be awesome!!! I never had many points on my card until Chris found here!!!
Now the mission is to see how fast the 150 can be turned into 50,000 once again!!!!
Great shop indeed! Is it baseball season yet?
