watching right now! Season 2 was there and I never even knew!! On Prime. It's called Wolf Like Me with Josh Gad ( the snowman Olaf from Frozen ) and Isla Fischer ( she is married to that crazy Sasha Baron Cohen...aka Borat! )
It's a bit weird and gruesome but series about werewolves always are!

Look out! This movie on Netflix is so SWEET you may develop a cavity watching Emma Roberts in Space Cadet! I didn't WANT to like it but I did!
She's quite adorable, quirky and 100% delivers in that silly role.
A bonus for me was her co star, Tom Hopper! The big tall guy from The Umbrella Academy series. ( swoon )

Thanks for the heads up on Spacecadet will give it a try. Binge watched season 3 of the Bear. Liked it but kind of sad in spots...it did however give us a push back into the kitchen and cooking from scratch more. We use "yes chef" "behind you chef" quite often in our kitchen lol

@crafter !! I love that you use phrases in your kitchen with each other from The Bear! lol. I was also full out sobbing at one scene in particular, the birthing scene with Jamie Lee Curtis and Abby Elliott as mother/daughter. What a cast that show has.

oh my goodness yes!! That scene should win an award it was so well done. DH was tearing up it through the entire episode.
We've really enjoyed the series...a little part of me, wished they had stopped after the 2nd season to end on pure perfection.

I'm not an avid fan of Maggie Smith films BUT deeply respect her talent. Yesterday I watched this silly thing from 2009 called From Time To Time. Not a great film, no truly outstanding performances EXCEPT for one young actor who caught my eye named Kwayedza Kureya, he played Jacob, a young lad brought on to assist and protect a blind daughter of the Captain.
Well since it's 2024 I just had to see what became of this young actor.
He became this amazing singer with an angelic voice! Goes by just the one name now, Kwaya.

what a waste of a hunk! The new animated comedy series called Exploding Kittens on Netflix, ( we have the boardgame ) has the sultry voice of Tom Ellis as the God cat! We only hear his voice?? what a waste.
You know? LUCIFER! here! .......see what I mean?

There was a series in 2021 called American Rust starring Jeff Daniels. So good! Then covid happened, so instead of a Season 2 the show got cancelled. Then it got revived and Season 2 came to prime video March 28th! I watched all 10 episodes, cliffhanger at the end of 10.....so OF COURSE it's been cancelled again with no hopes of a 3rd Season. Bummer.

I've never watched the tv show Criminal Minds. Then I notice that on Prime or Crave ( ? ) that it's now in it's SEVENTEENTH season!
So I tuned into episode 1 of Season 17 " just to see? " It's a very good drama, not sure why it has been under my tv radar for all
these years. I'm now on Episode 7. Not sure if I have it in me to watch the previous 16 seasons....ha ha

Another surprise was the return ( and final season ) of Snowpiercer!! Gosh I loved both the movie and the tv series of this show.
Was totally unaware of it's return, I'm caught up on the 2 newest episodes and chomping at the bit for the next one on August 4th.

Thank goodness I'm going outside today to " touch grass ".

I'm empty now, emotionally. Waited so long for the Final Season of The Umbrella Academy to stream on Netflix, it arrived in the wee hours of Aug 8th and I've binged it all. The series took some odd turns and had superb special guests! ( no spoilers from me) .

As usual I " discover " series that have been around for a while. This one called Mr. In Between is the latest. If you enjoy the Aussie accent then tune in.
Found it on Disney+ but also on Prime.
