I was sad that British Bakeoff was over, but Australia just began their first season, so I'm happy!

Yea, I caught the first episode of that too. I liked it. Thanks to Masterchef, I'm familiar with the judges at least. Didn't think the redhead co-host was all that great, but that's a small point.
It was too bad that the signature cake of the British flag wasn't tasty, cause that was awesomely put together.

I liked MC Aus so much - with the extended episodes, etc., so I'm starting with watching Season 1 on YouTube - I'm at episode 42 I think. Interesting how much the judges have changed since then!

I started watching a new British drama called Unforgotten. It stars Nicola Walker, who's been in several good series I've watched before (Spooks, Scott & Bailey.)
She stars as a police captain of a homicide unit and they're currently working on solving a 35-40 year old murder. It also shows the current lives of people who are going to be suspected of that crime.

I watched another one called The Last Kingdom. A young boy, a lord, is captured and raised by Danes/Vikings. When his uncle ransacks the Danes village, he goes back to his home and claims it as his own, the rightful heir. I'll watch another episode, but just on episode one alone, I wouldn't continue with it.
