I received a letter as well demanding i send in "72" pins!!! Thats insane,,,i didnt enter 72 pins! I told them that alot of the codes were from powder, and i have already redeemed the coupons, and the codes that were from liquid i threw out! They are going to "look into it", and see if they can located the coupons ive redeemed! They asked me names and addresses of stores that i redeemed the coupons at! Ive even traded some, so who knows whats gonna happen now. Ive pretty much lost hope in this promo now and receiving my prizes

    Same here!
    Will see what happens.

When I called; I asked to speak with Tara J - left a message.
She called back and I asked her about the letter and their "crazy number" She confirmed that's the number from their system. I asked if she can look into that because it's not real.
She stated that she will have another meeting with the team to discuss once their receive my pins with my letter and will get back to me when they reach their decision on how they are going to proceed.

    Great....

Now let's wait another 2 months

i got also a letter, i didn't call, i send a long letter back in the envelope prepaid they send me, i also send my pins i still had(that won) they wanted me to send them all my pins that won to verify. i think it's unfair, because most of my wins came from before they changed the rule to keep the pins. i will see what they answer. this promo sucks big big time.

I wonder where are they getting this number...
In the meantime I sent the pins I had. Unfortunately some of them were thrown out because I entered those in July & August - there was nowhere mentioned pins required amd I didn't keep them....
    Now will see what happens.
same here, i throwed all my pins away from july/august,that's where my wins came from. we should all send a letter(i did already) that the rules not said it before to keep the pins also there is no limit how much we can enter, if they not want that somebody buys 50 laundry detergents over that time period, then they should say in the rules ONLY 1 pin per day or so. i also send them pictures of my laundry detergent stash,so they believe me that my pins were real and not from any computer program.

Today I entered two more pins and I noticed again....more changes...
Now they don't tell you right away what you won.
You need to fill out all your info,
    Plus
You need to enter the pin again while filling out the form
and then the prize comes up at the next page.

Probably they really got screwed up for doing all this.

Now it would be funny if they rule out something like:
-No prize if no pin sent to them.

I can't wait to hear back from them and find out what's "next"....

They sure are having a lot of problems with this contest. I'm wondering if I'm going to get a replacement pin for the one that didn't work or if I'm just SOL.

With most pin related contests it is highly recommended you keep the pin, even if the contest rules state you don't have to. They have the right to change the rules at any given time during the contest to implement that rule (and lots of companies have done so). X_X

This is crap - it sounds like their 'system' screwed up on them and and they are passing the buck to the consumer. Is there a BBB that you can complain to about fraudulant contests like this?? Not fair to suck us into buying their product and not make good on the contest. I entered a lot of PINS too, my girlfriends run a B&B and saved them all for me, of course I threw them out, if I didn't my hubby would have for sure!

I would not say 'fraudulant contest'. Perhaps poorly thought out method of conducting a promotion. They thought people would be honest and that it would be an incentive for folks to purchase their product.
Everyone thought it was great and wonderful when they were winning. Unfortunately, as with many other promos in the past, a few folks can ruin it for others.
I believe Sunlight is doing their best to dig to the bottom of a problem. They discovered many, many pins had been entered by people, yet others were stating their pins were saying already claimed. The complaints started coming in and they as a company started digging.
When you send in proof of your pins they are probably going to try and track down the names of the people whom already claimed said pin numbers.

Some folks probably used some kind of code generator and in the high of getting loads of swag got carried away.

I know I only have my pins from after they started asking for pins to be kept as proof. And perhaps legally they can not demand them from before that point if there was no fine print in regards to pin numbers at the beginning of the promotion.
I'm not even sure it is in the rules now. Guess I should go and check.

In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of submitted by the entrant will be disqualified. Without limiting the foregoing, but for greater certainty, the Sponsor reserves the right, for prize verification purposes (and at any time, whether
before or after notification or delivery of any prize), to require you to return to the Sponsor your valid, original, physical PIN (cap sleeve, box insert, label sticker or no-purchase PIN, as applicable) and the Sponsor will provide for this purpose a prepaid return envelope. Failure to return your valid, original, physical PIN to the Sponsor within the timeframe and in the manner requested by the Sponsor may result, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, in disqualification of the applicable PIN or PINs and your disqualification from the Contest. Any
prize awarded on the basis of an invalid PIN is forfeited and may be reclaimed by the Sponsor.

That's why we are protected in Quebec by a special law, but that's also due to this law why we can't have all the contest you have.

this rule was new and not there in july/august,and that's where i entered most of my pins. that would be really unfair if they disqualify me now. they can reclaime the prizes, ok, i don't have my coupons anymore, but i will send on cost of sunlight the full bottles of detergent back if they want.
