There's a good deal on my auction if you're looking for Pampers codes.
I have a diaper code that's at 50 and ends in 23 hours.

I think Im done with Listia.... I was having a good time and was selling alot of my amazon codes there in exchange for beads... the other day i decided to put up a ringthat was 14k stamped, and I sent it out. its been 3 weeks and the buyer claims they have not gotten it; I told them because of the boarder ect...and that I was in Canada it might be at customs and that she would have to wait a bit longer as I can't control the mail. I can only assure her that it went out.
She then asked for a tracking number, I sent my fiancee to send this in the mail, and the tracking was an additional 30 dollars because it was going to the states, so because of this I do not have tracking. I have a feeling she has already gotten it or she will shortly and of course keep it.
I fail to see how its fair, the site protects the buyers but not the sellers. I wrote them a nasty email and I'm probally going to take it up with the bbb.

Oh ashmaster that is so frustrating. In the US it costs nothing for the tracking. I try to sell only low value things to the USA and I post this long thing about "customs" in my ad and that if they bid they agree to these conditions.
Hope they receive it and reverse the decision.

So frustrating, Ash! Things take FOREVER to get to the States when I send them, too.

I dont usually ship to the USA, only GC codes, not worth it for us, we have to pay more for safe delivery. I would just stick to Canada if I were you, or make em pay to track it.

So sorry!! I've had that happen to me (lots) and it definitely sucks!!
If you ship to the US via small packet, there is no tracking, but you do have insurance for up to $100 if something gets "lost." Although in my experience it's almost NEVER lost, but most likely someone taking advantage of the fact you didn't get tracking. I budget that about 1 in 30ish DVD's/Games I ship there will be "lost." Of course I don't pay the extra for small packet vs. light packet due to price difference, so I just have to sigh and eat the loss. At $5 extra a package for insurance, I save $150 in 30 packages, more than enough to cover the expense of 1 "lost" item. But if you are shipping expensive things like rings, I would definitely pay the $5, and document the item so Canada Post will cut you a cheque in the event of a loss (they reimburse the shipping + item value).
For really expensive items I ship via expedited parcel to the US - it gets transferred to their priority mail when it crossed the boarder, and you get delivery confirmation.
Unfortunately with tracking options being so expensive in Canada, it's hard to offer free shipping AND tracking to the US - you're almost always better to just list an amazon.com GC worth similar to what your postage would be

Way to go - I'm bidding. Welcome to the Listia crowd.
I have identified over 350 people who ship to Canada.
I fan each one -- on your profile page you can view auctions just from frans so this is a quick way for me to see what's listed. If you go back through this thread you'll see lists of people that I posted. I'm going to do another post with about 20 names soon.

There is tons of people who ship here now, I'm so pleased that SC'ers have joined. I was lonely on there, I joined when there was no more than 6 Canadians on Listia and that was sucky LOL
