Exactly, Chives, people DO do things that aren't acceptable, but if people like Jimmy Swaggert and Jim Baker can find their way out of the mess they created, then one could expect that of other people, too.

Another suicide, this time a Pastor. They just interviewed his family and they were so devastated to learn that he thought so little of their love for him that he didn't feel he'd be forgiven. I wouldn't call that brave at all.

...sooo..what's a "bot"? I understand it's not a real person, but how can or does it communicate with a live person? I guess it responds to the original email address that some guy enters, but what then? What's the purpose of it? Can anyone explain what its purpose was on that site?

A female employee sued AM in 2013...she claimed she typed up so many fake female profiles in such a short time for AM back in 2011 that it left her permanently disabled lol

I suspect the company basically operated like a text-based phone sex operation. They hired people to create steamy content, and when the men thought they were having a hot sex chat with some young beautiful woman, they were actually getting canned responses from the bots. I am sure a lot of guys got what they needed without ever crossing the line, ironically More like having a o stories email subscription.

You could make the thing respond to key words...you don't need advanced AI to spew out sex chat. Apparently Siri won't let you talk dirty to her but Ashley will.

This is why there is not a huge rash of divorces from this...I don't think many guys ever got anywhere with the site. Computer generated custom , that's all.

Simple pattern recognisition, it's fairly easy to progamme once you can deliniate the parameters.
