Ashley Madison website hacked

If you’ve been on the Internet at all in the past little while, you’ll know that Ashley Madison – the world’s premier site for aspiring cheaters – has been hacked by a collective calling itself the Impact Team. Global News reports that the hack, which happened in mid-July, involved the theft of email addresses, passwords, real names, photographs and the torrid fantasies of over 37 million users. The Impact Team threatened to release the information publicly if Avid Life Media, which owns Ashley Madison and sugar-daddy-dating site EstablishedMen.com, didn’t immediately take down both sites. They didn’t, and so on August 19th, the hackers dumped all the data as promised onto the Dark Web. Soon, it will all be public knowledge.

Josh Duggar "had paid Ashley Madison account"

n 2013, conservative reality TV star Josh Duggar—of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting fame—was named the executive director of the Family Research Council, a conservative lobbying group in D.C. which seeks “to champion marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society.” During that time, he also maintained a paid account on Ashley Madison, a web site created for the express purpose of cheating on your spouse. In May 2015, Duggar was forced to resign afterIn Touch Weekly reported that he had molested five young girls (four of whom were his own sisters) beginning in 2002. When the accusations became public, the family went into crisis mode, insisting that Josh had reformed and that the media covering the claims was intent on “exploiting women.”

There is actually another site that has all the names listed with details making it easier to see.

Kitchener, ON has a lot of names on the list and NO they are not all men. Women are just as bad on there from what I can see by the names. People get married young, and then the honey phase wears off with them looking elsewhere for a quickie. Same applies to those that have been married for a long time, with no more spark in the relationship.

Glad these people are being named and shamed...divorce lawyers are about to get busier, laughing all the way to the bank.

Because the site didn't require email verification to sign up, there are many cases of stolen email identity as well as fake emails being used.

Computer security expert Brian Krebs, who writes the KrebsOnSecurity blog, said many of the leaked accounts appeared to be little more than a name and an email address, raising questions about their authenticity.

"But when you start factoring in payment information, that becomes harder to explain," he said.
Krebs said Ashley Madison does not send verification emails and allows multiple accounts to be linked to a single email address in an effort to aid users' privacy.

OS ANGELES (Reuters) - "Transformers" star Megan Fox filed for divorce from actor Brian Austin Green on Friday after five years of marriage, a Los Angeles court spokeswoman said.
The filing in Los Angeles Superior Court came after media reports earlier this week that the couple had separated.
Fox, 29, is best known for starring in the blockbuster "Transformers" movie in 2007 and a 2009 sequel. In 2008 she was named the world's sexiest woman in a poll by the magazine FHM.
She has said she met Austin Green, who appeared in the 1990s television show "Beverly Hills, 90210," when she was 18 and he was 30. They went on to date for years and married in 2010.
The couple have two children together.
