And the peeing has increased even more, as if that was possible!!
I don't see a huge drop but that was the first sign for me that things were happening. I wanted to set up camp on the toilet.

But I have to say, you're one of those cute pregnant women who looks like she swallowed a beach ball. I'm jealous, I just got huge everywhere. No one believed me that I was pregnant when I was 8 months along, I just looked fat.

Jellybean I don't see a drop but its hard to tell. I remember feeling a lot of pressure in the last couple of weeks And I remember baby would kick or I would sneeze and have to run to the bathroom

I have 2 boys (2½ years old and 11 months) but I would like to have a little girl. unfortunately, daddy doesn't want anymore kids...

maybe I'll be able to change his mind one day [/quote]

Me too! I have 2 boys....One 9 years old and the other is 18 months old. I would so love to have a little girl, but hubby is stubborn, no more kids. He wants to go for the snip snip just to make sure .

Congrats! I gave birth Dec 31, 2007. What a way to bring in the new year!
I had a lot of trouble as well during my pregnancy. I was on bed rest from Sept 11. We were in a car accident in August as well. Many many trips to the hospital (2x per week and once per week to doctor's). It is a lot of stress but hang in there, it will be worth it in the end.

congrats to all the pregnant moms out there. although i am not pregnant i was reading the initial comments about not having a baby around xmas. i thought i would share that my first son was conceived on xmas eve it was funny because we were supposed to go to my inlaws for dinner (they celebrate xmas, but we do not, Im not christian) and then they called and said everyone is running late so take your time. so we had some time to kill and sure enough i guess i got pregnant

lol...i guess for those who celebrate he was our xmas miracle

I'm at 29 weeks with my 2nd. my daughter turned 6 yrs old a few days ago, and so there is a huge gap between the 2. I will definitly try for a third, but not with such a huge gap. I really feel bad for my daughter, the poor thing has had a lonely 6 years.

My 2 pregnancies have blessed me with gestational diabetes. which means i'm going to develop diabetes, both my parents have it, and it sucks. even the 2nd time around it's horribly disapointing. meal planning is difficult, sweets are out of the Q, and of course i'm avoiding sweeteners so I get no help with my sweet tooth.

at the end of the day I wouldn't change a thing. I can't wait for my little alien to make it's debut, I just can't wait to meet it.

i have an old remedy for diabetes...it might sound weird but it works, when i was pregnant with my first i was borderline diabetic and with my second i did this and the doctor was shocked how i didnt have it or not even close.
there is a dryed bean you can buy in the grocery store called lupini beans. you might find it in the international aisle or even in a bulk store. all you do is swallow one hole everyday like a pill, thats it. somehow it absorbs the sugar in your body. its an arab remedy and i was willing to try anything so i took someone's advise.
my inlaws who are all diabetic started using it too and it drastically reduced their blood sugar level. its an odd remedy, not everyone is willing to try it, but i thought i would share.

    good to know

I am going for my sugar testing etc on my next visit and my OB said being diabetic may be a possibilty this time around. They keep calling me old

    I am only 32
But she says human bodies are made to have babies in their teens and early 2o's even though thats not what society says. So women over 25 sometimes have a harder time and more complications etc. Its funny because all books say "pregnant over 35?"

That explains why this one has been harder for me. My other 3 where born before I was 25

    Also about conceiving... LOL
My boys were both conceived on my dads BDAy! My hubby and my dad really get a long and we would always go away together on my dads bday. Hubby would have a few drinks and 9 months later 2X we had our boys

they say 35 is late to have kids, but then again this is not your first so you should be fine.
i know many people not even settling til well after that, so they really need to stop looking at people funny when they have kids after 35...it should be 40 or 45 nowadays.
i just turned 30 last month and want a few more kids...but im hoping to be done by 35 so avoid the looks
