Thank-you for the tips regarding the baby sleeping at night. I actually got 5 hrs of sleep last night, I hope that becomes a regular thing!
Package is ready to go, just waiting until this weeks flyers come out in case there's I find something to add.
I wait until after thanksgiving to decorate because we host the dinner, dont want to gross my grandma out with spooky decos lol. DD and I are making spider nests out of stocking and the trick or treaters will have to walk through them in the mudroom to get to our door.

we don't decorate outside for halloween. We used to but never get any kids, in the last 5 years living here the most we got was last year with 10 kids.
DS and I make Pumpkins and decorations for inside though, we'll be starting that in a week or so

I'm Baaacccckkkkk!!!!!!!! after a weekend from hell, i am back. friday our sewer backed up (what a mess) and then the electrician was here on sunday and when he was done, we had no lights in the house other than the lights in the kitchen and bathroom so he had to come back monday to fix it. turns out all our lights plus a few outlets are all on one huge circuit and disconnecting our summer kitchen (old knob and tube wiring) disconnected everything.
carter is also feeling better. managed to get him some antibiotics so all is good now and he is back to his old self! now off to catch up on the thread.

we just laid carter back down during the nite in his bassinet, awake or not, he would play and coo for a bit and then would fall asleep. everything was kept dark, etc and he fell into routine quickly
wonderful package!
usually after thanksgiving

Had to take Livi to the hospital last night for her ear, unfortuneately they cant say for sure if its an ear infection as she has abnormal ear canal so they cant see proper. It also could be for her teeth as we are waiting for surgery..she has to get 6 crowns as her molars are hollow. They have no idea why but the teeth wont fall out for another 5-7 years or so, so hey erecommended crowns and we agreed. I cant stand to see her in pain. Tried to work today with virtually no sleep didnt work...lasted 4.5 hours.

I have lived in apartments for the last 8 years until last November when we bought our first house so have never decorated outside or have trick or treaters. So, I have no clue how much candy to buy! There are tons of children in the neighbourhood but we live in a newer section so maybe we won't tons but I still the very local ones. Houses on the "main" streets in our neighbourhood can get 300 kids! Yikes! I don't want to run out but I also don't want to have tons leftover - although hubby would probably finish it off pretty quickly.
which reminds me, buddy who is sending to me, do you have access to a colour printer? I need a teal pumpkin picture to put up so children that have food allergies know that we offer no food treats (saw this on Facebook & thought it was a great idea). But I don't have a printer & hubby's work printer only lets them print in black & white.
