I'm back from being MIA

I've been really busy the past few months, and its just going to be busier for me for the next 2 months. I am engaged got engaged on my birthday and we are getting married in November. So busy making center pieces and calling getting everything booked and paid for. I have been getting good deals on everything bonus was getting my wedding dress for $40 at a flea market and it fits perfect no alterations needed to it either, my best friend gave me shoes to wear. I'm sure its going to be a beautiful wedding where I am marrying my best friend that I have just meet and been with since Febuary.

Welcome back! My husband and I had a super frugal wedding because all that was important was to have family there, to have a good set of photographs and a nice dress that I do look at every once in awhile. We had a separate party on a separate date with friends to celebrate...and I liked it best that way because I was so nervous at the wedding that I don't think I could have enjoyed a party then. Good for you for not getting trapped in the expected huge pricetag for more of a ceremony than you value. Not knocking those who want the full wedding experience. Just saying that everyone is different. Your husband-to-be is lucky to have one frugal chicklet on his arm.
