2015 Advent Train *Opening Time*

Morning ladies! Up early watching Rudolph with my munchkin who is sick (runny stuffed nose & coughing). Still no baby yet ......



Awww poor kid! Hope he is feeling better soon & you don't get it either!

Ds1 is already better and ds2 is starting to feel better thanks to lots of g2 (much cheaper than pedialyte and no fight to get them to actually drink it), children's Advil (was on clearance for 3$ I think they are discontinuing the bubblegum flavour), and some children's gravol (forgot we had it when ds1 got sick but Dh found it for ds2 to take before bed last night).

We usually visit my mom on Sunday when she has my nephew for the day. I decided to take them there yesterday (ds1 was feeling better but ds2 wasn't sick until after we got there) because I didn't want to risk ds1 still being contagious around his (unvaccinated 4 year old) cousin since we didn't know if he had something dangerous. Both my kids are fully vaccinated so something that presents as a cold/flu/tummy bug for them could be potentially dangerous for their cousin. (I am NOT posting this to start a vaccine debate. I just know that what is a quick bug I can care for at home with my kids could potentially be something that could make my nephew severely sick.)

I have suspicions but not certain who my buddy is...

My plan for the day is to lay out the gifts I bought already and figure out if/what I still need to buy.

After that I am going to make Baileys truffles and Andes Mint cookies for cookie exchanges I joined for God know what reason... I always join them thinking it sounds like a great idea and then remember as I sit making dozens upon dozens of baking items that Costco sells mixed treat trays...

@francine1985 it is good to hear that your ds' s are feeling better .. it is always sacks to see your children being sick. Wishing them speedy recovery

Got through about 1/2 of season 2, Downton Abbey is very addictive. I wonder why I waited so long... oh yeah bc I didn't have netflix.

Working today was fairly busy and now slowed down. Want to watch more Downton Abbey!

im actually kind of sad we don't have snow yet. I don't want crazy cold temperatures but some snow would be nice.

I love downton Abbey, I still need to watch last year's Christmas episode & then this season.

I just finished watching Once Upon A Time, all caught up until tonight's episode which I will get hubby to download tomorrow.
