I thought of another question! For your Christmas decorating, do you have a theme or color scheme?

I've done color schemes in the past for my Christmas tree but this year, anything goes. I do LOVE any prim looking ornaments or anything vintage. Anything sparkly is always good!

I feel like you are my decorating soulmate. I love everything prim and vintage.

We haven't bought our advent calendars yet and would definitely love to get some. Even if we do end up buying some (not likely unless we can find ninja turtles ones) before the train gets here you can never have too many chocolates

I always say I'm going to cut down on what I buy my kids for Christmas... but I never do!! The way I see it, they're only young once, and if it's the one day that you really spoil them, who cares? My kids get tired of opening presents after while, I buy WAY too much LOL. But I always make sure they have the same amount of gifts.

Advent calendars- yes please!! Chocolate (lindt), starbucks, tea... not really into makeup so none of those.

Dilemma of the day... should I still consider getting my buddy an advent calendar if there is a chance of having it duped?
I dont buy advent calendars for myself, I didnt realize they were so popular for adults. The tea one would be nice, but it would not be much fun if the buddy had, say 2 of the nail polish ones ect. Not sure of that helps!

I go overboard as well. I usually spend about 150 on DD. As she gets older, thats less gifts because they get more expensive and smaller.

Spend much as you can afford to without going into debt. Its your kids and your money everyone else can keep their opinions to themselves. We spend cash/debit for everything (no credit cards) so we budget rent and bills then anything extra is to buy Christmas gifts for everyone we have to buy for. We buy early for our kids (ninja turtles toys come out here about a year after the US so we import them) and save up a bit every month. We spend 50$-200$ per kid depending on our budget for the year.

Not much this year. Can't afford much. At the rate it's going were not going to be able to afford anyone. Just realized there is only 3 more pay days till Christmas and not even remotely ready for it!

well in the past it's mainly - red, green & straw coloured (think IKEA Nordic) but now with DD is more eclectic & lots of handmade decorations.

We normally do 1 gift from Santa, then a stocking (which I would say would be medium sized) & 1 gift from us. Then she gets tons from family.

I probably won't be on much this weekend, I've got two 12 hour days (split shifts) coming up and the kiddos are away so I'll be out with friends the rest of the time lol. Have a good weekend everyone
