I grew up with no Santa, so it wasn't a thing. I don't even know if there were Santas to go see when I was growing up - way back in the day...

When our son was growing up, he didn't ever want to go - but Santa did bring him gifts to our house.

I remember stopping to see Santa a few times growing up, if we were in the city, but I don't think my mom ever got pictures.

I still get gifts from 'Santa', since that what my mom writes on every gift she puts under the tree

One time that I remember. I was so excited to see Santa and getting a gift too. Santa did not call my name and I was crying. They did not have a gift for me as they totally forget about me. I ended up getting a big board game and than I was the most happy child there. I will never forget that day. Danger_Dan, Thank you for another great Qot.......................

My biggest 'meet' with Santa was when my Dad brought my Brother and I to our local TV studio to visit with Santa and be on TV with him; what a terrifyingly thrilling time that was! I did remember to say "hi" to my Mom at home, lol...it was already dark out, just after dinner and I recall it all being such an experience!
We've taken our tots to the mall-Santas of course, but there was something about Santa being on Tv and finally us being there, too! As kids, we never missed watching him on TV every day!!
