Hello everyone!! It was snowing in parts here yesterday, might snow where I am this weekend!

They're calling for snow later tonight... makes me wanna cry lol

I hate the cold, and being near Vancouver...it is mostly rain, rain, rain all fall. It can snow Christmas Day...other that that...please stay away!

I hate the cold too! I'm dreading it... if I could move South for the winter I would lol!

We already have snow and ice, and a light storm will be rolling in tonight - big winds and snow. Uh, yay? Son is the only one who is happy!

Natalka, hi!! We've been lucky here, today is the coldest day we've had in about a week and we haven't seen any snow at all (aside from a few random flakes here and there). This will be my first winter driving and I'm NOT looking forward to it lol

ugh, what a day already!

Both kids woke up at 5:30am again. Then after I dropped DD at preschool, I went to SDM to pick up some GC's. The cashier was totally clueless and put all my GC's on 1 transaction so now I'll only get 8000 bp's instead of 16,000 bp's.

Then I get home and get DS down for a nap, he's barely asleep 15 minutes and I get a call from preschool saying DD is sick.

Weird, she was perfectly normal this morning. Wake up DS, get him in his car seat, drive 30 mins back to the city to get DD. As I'm helping her in her carseat, she throws up EVERYWHERE! All over herself, her blanket, and me. Okay, so I take off her coat and change her clothes and try again. Sure enough, it happens AGAIN! So, I had to borrow some clothes from the preschool because she had already used her 2 backup outfits.

I wasn't sure I would make it home but somehow we did. Just got both of them in bed and now I'm praying they sleep for a bit because I'm exhausted and have a cold coming on myself. I just started to feel normal again (flu last week) and now I have a cold. I can barely swallow. ugh.

Now I have to call and cancel DD's appointment tomorrow and we've been waiting for quite a while for it.

We are almost over our colds, some sniffles and coughs left.

Wishing you luck with driving! Here, we always make sure kids learn to drive in the winter, because of our conditions - then, they are ready for absolutely anything!
Depends upon the car, tires, etc. too - and it helps if there aren't too many other arses on the road! Son has already had a few close calls he was pretty POed about!
I don't have a car, so I'm not driving now - but I actually love winter driving! I think it's because we seem to have winter eight months of the year, lol!

First DD got a cold about 3 weeks ago and the DS got it. Right about the time they were back to normal, I got the flu. I was soooo sick for over a week. Then DS caught that also. I was so happy that DD and DH didn't catch it but now it looks like DD has it.

And now somehow I have a freakin' cold. My throat is swollen and my nose is running.

Gah. I HATE winter!

OO, all that typing hurt my hurt arm way too much. I try to keep my wrists down but I just didn't learn to type that way!
Time to go get it rested or it will never heal.
