In a local mom group I'm in someone posts their hauls occasionally. Which whatever, that's fine! But she does things that aren't really right and it's annoying because she is teaching eager money savers WRONG information! Like double dipping with $ off coupons and using that product to qualify for a b1g1 free coupon. Sigh.... No wonder so many stores give the eyes to couponers annoyed.

We have a person like that that comes into our store just about weekly. She's not even from this city, doesn't shop at her own WM location (must be a reason for that). She'll have from 5 to 7 buggies (yes, that many!) full of stuff that she's ad matching / has coupons for. She tries to go through cashiers that she hopes to pull fast ones on, but because other cashiers and the CSM's at the store know what she does (incorrect ad matches, tries to pull off out of province flyers as local, tries to use screenshots when she has been told numerous times must be from one of the recognized flyer apps or directly from the competitors' website of the flyer, expired coupons, trying to use more than 1 coupon on an item, coupons for incorrect sizes/ad matches for incorrect product/sizes, you name it). Week after week it's the same thing - with at least 2 buggies of stuff that has to go back to the floor to be reshelved (or worse, to claims/garbage because it is product that can't be reshelved now i.e. meat, frozen, perishables).
First time she did it....OK. 2nd time, well. By the 3rd, 4th, 20th time.....OK, chick, you are now pushing your luck. It's ridiculous. How many times must one tell the same person why it's wrong? For her to continue to pull her same bs each and every time, this is one customer that any retailer can do without. AND, to boot, she supposedly teaches others to do the same thing!

aw samm07, there will always be scammers. Sad that they enjoy teaching others their ways.

Yes, Rome must burn if the person wanting a deal that is not legit does not want to go down alone.

Those type of people are the reason why coupons are so scarce now. They ruin it for the honest couponers.

Next time you see her come in you should say, " what ever you have in your basket that doesn't match your coupons you're going to put everything back"!!! Then follow her around the store while she's shopping!! I bet you next time she will go to another store!! I hate when people ruin it for everyone!!

Comment on their FB posts, explaining to newbies exactly how they should be used. People generally police each other on Facebook. Maybe these people will go away if people stop giving them likes

Problem there is that in some of these groups, pointing out such things is a no no, and some of the Admins of these groups will boot you out when you do that - so by doing so, these groups/Admins are condoning incorrect ad/price matches, use of coupons, etc. It's OK to praise, but heaven forbid should one point out a mistake made!
