www.youth.gc.ca
Its a great little site, run by the government of canada to get feedback from youth, I have been a member for about four years now. They have monthly activities and if you participate you are entered to win a prize. So far I have won: a trip to Ottawa from Fredericton (weekend with airfair, accomedations, meals etc to participate in a youth forum), two ipod shuffles, directors chair, two water bottles, two insulated travel mugs, two winter hats, a duffle bag, pewter paperweight, usb flash drive.
There are also opportunities to participate in other government research forums from time to time. I had participated in a webchat a few weeks ago and recieved a $50 honorarium cheque.
Figured I might post it here, as I had been meaning to but kept forgetting. Sorry if its not the right place to post it, I wasn't sure where to post it at.This thread is currently associated with: Apple

not a problem at all, we are thrilled that you posted! Will move them both to surveys, but leave a re-direct for a day so everyone in freebies will see it too, since it is a great site! Thanks!

Thank you for registering with the youth.gc.ca Canadian Youth Connection (CYC) forum. Your access URL is being emailed to you right now!
FYI, you need to be under 30 for this one.

Thanks. You are welcome. Its an awesome little site, at least i think it is. When you win something they send it within a week. They are giving away nicer prizes than they had in the past: such as ipods and digital camera's etc.
Our tax money at work eh. It also gives the younger generations a chance to give their input to the government. So far I have seen changes made on gc.ca ending webpages to make them more youth appealing. Its kind of cool.

Also, you can use the site to count for volunteer hours, they will write you a reference letter for that purpose (I think some school program require ppl to volunteer so many hours a term, so this is a great way to volunteer some of those hours).

you are welcome littlevampire.
also prue they don't check to see if you are under 30...as long as you put in a birthdate that would make you under 30 .

Really? Maybe I should ask my older friends to sign up too. What happen when you do win & have to claim the prize?

Looks like I always have a strong inclination to do dishonest things.
