The only other "nearby" location I can think of is at Outlet Collection Niagara. So the Burlington location is sure to be a popular spot this winter!

Closed-Famous Footwear in the Ancaster Meadowlands must have closed sometime at the end of 2022. Store has a for lease sign.

On the Facebook page, the Hart FB person incorrectly replied to someone in January that the store was in the Hamilton Eaton Centre. Considering it closed in December...oops!

i was there today, they are still getting things set up, its pretty dark in areas. i cant see this store lasting very long, but i hope it does.

Think the store will be ok once the Facebook page is correctly updated and word gets out. Not everyone wants to walk the asphalt paradise known as the Centre on Barton between parking lots and roads at Barton & Kenilworth!
Have not been in the area in over two years. Will wait for steady weather before I bus out and take a look!

Changing names-Lowes Ancaster has its store name taken down and there's a Rona banner indicating that July 27 is when store will reopen as a Rona location.

hope that there will be some kind of celebration when the rebranding is complete!

Dundas-the University Plaza Shoppers Drug Mart now has a fresh produce section. Community paper bundle had a 2-pg glossy broadsheet insert. Perfect for the commuters who take the 10-Beeline to the plaza for banking, shopping and dining out or ride on the 5-Delaware bus.

Opening Sept. 22-Zellers pop-up store inside Hudson Bay at Lime Ridge Mall. Given how I have remarked on emptier spaces on both levels of the store, there's room for the popup.

Has anyone been to the Zellers popup in Burlington Centre since the 2024 closure of the location was announced?

The Ancaster Giant Tiger store now closes at 8pm weeknights, rather than 9pm as of Oct 1. I just checked as I forgot to jot the times at cash when I was last in the store this month.
